We have been to Aruba several times and with each visit we have dinner at Cuba's Cookin. We made reservations for 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 19th. Brenda checked us in and seated right away. She was our waitress as well. She was wonderful! Brenda and Kenny always checked on us. We ordered Chicken Mofongo, Chicken Pastor and a pasta... More

Had a late dinner at Cuba's cooking and food was ok, tasted fine but in comparison with other restaurants on the island, in value you would have received more in our opinion. However, we would still recommend this restaurant if you're not on budget cause the food taste good. Furthermore the ambience is quite lacking in entertainment and we're seated... More

I try not to write bad reviews if I can help it, but I do have to be honest. We had a lovely time at the bar one night sipping cocktails and listening to music. We went back for lunch and the food and service were bad - plain and simple. Do go for drinks at night.

My and the rest of my family had wonderful food. The only thing we didn't like is how expensive the food and drinks were.

My husband and I went for lunch and food was delicious. Our waitress was Sharloth and she was fantastic. So we went back the following day and our food choice was even better BUT the waitress Andrea was just bad. She was not friendly. Very abrupt. Did not ask if we needed anything. Just the total opposite of the first... More

Went her with my wife for a night on the town for our honeymoon. Food was great, greeter and waiter were all very hospitable. Even got some great salsa lessons with Kenny. Had a blast and fun dancing.

We went to Cuba's Cookin' based on a recommendation. Though we enjoyed the food and drinks we found that their prices far exceeded the portions provided and the quality of the food. The service was ok but not exceptional. We will likely not eat there again as there are many other restaurants in Aruba that provide you with better service,... More

Food was very good! Service and entertainment excellent. Our waiter Keny went above and beyond. He is a wonderful honest person. We got the check and left cash for the amount we saw on the bill. As it turned out we looked at the wrong amount, we paid the Aruba amount. $200 too much. He came after us and told... More

We have been here for over 2 weeks now and the food in Aruba has been a huge disappointment...until tonight! The food was amazing and the entertainment an unexpected delight. There are a lot of restaurants here that are over-hyped and I'm pretty sure they give kick backs to cabs/hotels to send tourists to their establishments but this is not... More

Description
Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.
