Cuba's Cookin is a mainstay for our Aruba vacations. We have been enjoying the music, food, and drinks for 20+ years. Douglas and his team treat us as family, as if we are back home again. Thank you Cuba's Cookin!

We have visited this restaurant each time we have come to Aruba (6x). We are usually impressed with our meals, but something was off this trip ... it was busy and the quality seemed "off". Might skip this on our next trip. Drinks were excellent, however!
The food was delicious and the service was excellent. We also enjoyed the live music and the atmosphere.
This place is definitely a hidden gem. It is in a popular tourist are and we were happy it wasn’t crowded on the night we went. There was live music and it’s very laid back! The service was great and they were very attentive. We...had the best ceviche here, we tried about 6 different ones at various restaurants while we were visiting. We had a delicious avocado salad that was so fresh & the fried pork bites were also very good. We drank caipirinhas that were on point and really good. We had various entrees which were good, my friend loved the skirt steak and I had the chicken with olives. I liked it, however, the sauce was a little sweet. We all agreed we would definitely go back.More
A great little find while walking around town, after getting off the ship. Grace & Donna were our bartender and server. We ordered the snack platter for 2, and it was a perfect blend of tastes for a light afternoon snack. The service was great,...food arrived quickly and was very tasty. My said the Piña Colada was the best she'd had in a while. Definitely a jewel to find just off of the typical path the cruise passengers were following. If you're in Aruba, look for this little place near the casino, you'll be glad you did.More
The food was absolutely amazing and the atmosphere was great. The only problem was when we came to pay for the meal. Due to the bills we had, we placed $160 in the bill fold for a $143 bill (15% tip was already included in...the final price) but after waiting 15 minutes we haven’t received any change. We asked the waitress, and with a snarky remark gave back $7 and claimed we only gave her $150. I’m not sure how to make $150 out of a single $50, a single $10 and the rest $20s. So go enjoy the food because it was amazing (has the chicken empanadas, and the Mofongo) but be careful when paying with cash.More
first night in aruba and wanted to try this restaurant as we like cuban food. don't get me wrong, the food was good but, did not have as much flavor as one would expect. i had the shrimp with a sauce that was made for...gringos, the fried bananas were good, the polenta was good. my wife had grouper which was good.More
We had a nice experience, were just looking for a lunch spot and stopped by on their patio. Their fish wrap was surprisingly one of the tastier meals I had on the trip. The fish was super soft and paired smoothly with the avocado and...garlic mayo in a Cuban tortilla. Cocktails were nice too.More
On our first night in Aruba, my wife and I were just wandering around. Many of the restaurants in the area had already closed. We were hungry and stumbled upon this place. The ribs I had were very meaty however, the Grouper my wife had...was overly blackened and she left most of it.More
We’ve walked by several times, and this time we decided to give it a try. We weren’t disappointed! The food was authentically Cuban with a special depth of flavor. The Ropa Vieja was some of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend!!
We “happened” upon this restaurant, drawn by the live music. We were greeted and seated in a most gracious manner by the owner. Although, we had already eaten, we stayed to have a drink and enjoy the excellent music. The menu looked enticing, so we...returned the following evening to dine. I had the Cuban soup which was very, very good and the avocado salad - delicious! My husband enjoyed the seafood sampler plate (can’t remember how it was listed). It had a great assortment of seafood and served with rice. Drinks were good, service was very gracious and attentive. Again, we truly enjoyed the music - a father and his talented teenage son, but my heart really melted when his 6year old son joined with his little set of bongos. Everything about our evening was perfect.More
Had a tapas hour in the afternoon but the food was just really good. Prices decent. The staff were lovely
Delicious cuban food, don't miss out! The portions and prices are reasonable and most important: it's tasty! The music is a touch loud, but don't let that deter you.
We went for lunch. Service was slow and poor. I had the fish tacos and they were breaded and that was all it was breading. No fish to find. The rest of the taco filling was good but I would not recommend.
Wish now I had taken pictures of the food. Beautifully done, with lobster and whole potpourri of seafood. Everything, very well presented. Comida muy bien!
