About
Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.

A pleasant restaurant/bar serving great looking Caribbean food. We had a couple of rum punches too – not the best we’ve tasted at just under 10 USD each – then a 15% service charge was added automatically, so watch out for that! Great outside space...More

We thought Aruba was expensive and refused to pay what some bars were asking for a beer. Look typical of the bars we'd seen in Havana but we were disapointed to find that the staff were from the Dominican Republic??More

Hi Dave, I hate to disappoint you but due to world immigration policies, most nations do not allow Cubans into their countries for fear they will be taking over low paying jobs not to mention Cuba's tight controls on not letting their citizens out.....one would...More

We were there during the beginning of COVID-19 so there were no cruise ships allowed into port. I am sure during normal times the restaurant has a more upbeat vibe. Our meals were fine- nothing stands out. The staff were all friendly and doing the...More

They make a pretty delicious dinner meal for vegans. They had live music at night which sounded great. Ginag was our server and she was very friendly.

This was our first time in Aruba. We were there for 10 days and honestly we did not have a bad meal. However, Cuba's Cookin was probably the lowest of all our meals. We thought the food was good, but nothing special and the price...More

Had no plans for dinner when we visited Oranjestad for the Bon Bini Festival. Decided to give Cuba’s a try. It was awesome! Amazing food and helpful, attentive waitstaff. We were a party of 6 with someone with severe food allergies, and they made sure...More

The sampler for 2 was a lot of yummy food. With very filled chicken empanadas, plantain chips with fresh guac, grilled shrimp and a ton of pork bites, it was great for sharing. The smothered stuffed pork chop was super flavorful. And their soups were...More

Walking distance from our ship and my wife and I enjoyed a quiet lunch. We both had the grouper which was well prepared. The plantains, rice and beans that came with the fish made for an excellent plate. The restaurant had few customers for lunch...More

We came for dinner on a Saturday night. We were quickly greeted by the host (who I understand to be the owner) and seated us at the table of our choice outside. He took time to understand what kind of food we liked and made...More

Yes the beer selection is limited. However the beer they did have is tasty and the cocktails were fabulous! The food is one of the best I have had in the Caribbean.
