We really wanted to try this place and we were not disappointed. They have a diverse selection of cuban plates, I tried the Cuban sandwich and it was as good as I expected. Also, the mojitos are really good! We went for lunch but they have live salsa music in the evening

We wandered in to Cuba's Cookin for dinner on the last night of our honeymoon and what a disappointment it was. First let me say that the atmosphere is nice. They had a live band that played authentic music. I was tempted to salsa a few times myself and my husband couldn't keep still in his seat. But that's where... More

Very good authentic Cuban food. Very fresh lots of choices, desserts fair. Then you get to the service worst I have had on the island!

We enjoyed our dinner at Cuba's Cookin'. We visited on a Friday evening and found a band playing outside. The place was not too busy so the service was pretty efficient by Aruba standards. The dinner menu is quite varied. We enjoyed appetizers and entrees along with a couple of drinks. I wasn't too impressed with the drinks (very sweet... More

We pretty much ordered ceviche every night on the island on every restaurant. This place had the best ceviche out of all. Amazing live latin music and dancing.

Cuba's Cooking has given us a wonderful experience during our vacation in Aruba. Owner Douglass Markus has propelled his 17 year old establishment to be a premier stop for visitors to this happy island. We have never been disappointed with the food or entertainment, either at the original venue or at the new site. This trip was especially enjoyable because... More

Our service here was very good, but we think that the food was overpriced. Our dishes were good but not spectacular for the price.

Maybe it was the mojitos, maybe it was Cuban music or even the warm breezes on the patio, either way, we had a great time here. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding. The dancers were very engaging, the atmosphere was fun and romantic and felt like relaxed vacation.

Description
Newly located in the Renaissance Marketplace downtown, Cuba's Cookin' has moved with the times just as when Fidel began his march on Havana in 1959. This is what Havana would have looked & felt like.... and when the live music starts up nightly....this is exactly what you would have heard & seen back then. A moment in history brought out in Cuba's food, mojitos, art, culture and dance. A real authentic dinning experience you will take home forever from your trip to Aruba.
