I visit this restaurant twice during my two week stay in Aruba every year. I am not sure it is because the food is fabulous, but I just love the ambiance and the fact that it is quiet and intimate, The view is sensational and it is basically top notch. Sometimes I find the service a bit slow and not so on top of things, but all in all, I do enjoy this restaurant and always go here. Prices are high, but sometimes I collect rewards from the casino and get a certificate to out towards it.

We had a great table by the windows with a nice view. The bottomless mimosas and small plate made to order brunch menu items were excellent. The service was attentive but allowed for leisurely pace for brunch. Would definitely recommend and go back again.

Finally made it over for dinner with some friends. Nice place overlooking the golf course with a varied menu. My wife liked her duck and I really enjoyed my veal chop. Our friends also really liked their meals. Lynn, our server was friendly and attentive and they didn't auction off the food. Prices are par for the course for fine dining and it's well worth stopping by, especially for a special meal. No service charge was added.

After reading some of the bad reviews I can see that we are in good company regarding our experience. We have been in Aruba multiple days and each day we walk by this restaurant at dinner time. You could literally fire a cannon off in this restaurant and not hit anything every night of the week. Mulligans, which is the restaurant below this one, is full everyday. Management should take note and perhaps respond to some of these comments....if they care. After the experience we had I believe they do not. We arrived around 8pm for coffee and dessert and although there were very few customers in the restaurant we waited a few minutes for a host to seat us. When the host saw us he made a comment about the fact he was going to finish his drink first before seating us. I think the host was disappointed that we were not a guaranteed $300 dollar tab and we could see this on his face. It started with him clearing our table of glasses and cutlery in a huff as though we were putting him out. We then had multiple snide comments from our host including when my wife was overlooking the tea selection. He stated “do you need to phone a friend?” I’ve worked in hospitality for many years and can understand that dealing with people can be frustrating but I would never talk to a guest like that. On top of which we were continually pressured for appertiffs when we just wanted a nice quiet cup of coffee. There is a reason why this restaurant is always empty. They need to focus on service and food and people will come. Until then take my advice and stay away from this restaurant as there are better options elsewhere. Attached is a photo to compare how busy this restaurant is versus Mulligans at peak dinner hour around 6:30pm. You be the judge!

The restaurant is elegant and has a nice view on the golf course. That said, it does not show a connection to Aruba, it could be anywhere in the world. There is a strange visual effect where the big external windows tilted toward the outside make you feel that the table is not horizontal, and only focusing on the water/wine glass where the liquid is horizontal you convince yourself that it is an optical illusion; we talked about it with the waiter, who indeed said that guests at times ask to change the table away from the window, which defeats the purpose of dining with a view. The staff was cordial and efficient, and the food was very good: we had tuna tataki and parmesan soup as starters, then a seabass shrimp combination and duck as main course, and finally shared a chocolate mousse for dessert. With one glass of wine each, the bill was $144, which I found disproportionate. We went there because we had a coupon from our hotel that they promptly honored, but the "expensive aseptic elegance" of this restaurant is not what I look for for a pleasant dining e experience in Aruba, so I doubt I will go back.

Today, February 28, 2021 my parents Ricardo & Carmen Geerman are celebrating their 64th wedding anniversary. We choose Windows to go for brunch to celebrate this special occasion. My sister booked this reservation a couple of days before for our family of 9. Upon arrival around 12:30pm a female, brown skinned in a black dress medium build came to ask if we had reservations. She was informed that yes we had reservations for 9 people in total. She covered her mouth with her hands in shock and said noooooo the reservation was requested for 7 and she only had one table for 4 and one table for 3 set up for us. We told her that is not possible because our family always do brunch or lunch together as a group of nine people. This female person was rude and questioned us and insisted that the reservation was made for 7 people insinuating that we were lying. She did not try to accommodate us, she did not apologize even for the misunderstanding or call her supervisor or manager to make arrangements to accommodate us. Why, I wonder, maybe because we were locals? This female person has no service skills was extremely rude and not accommodating and she had the courage to tell us to calm down when we were unhappy with the situation at hand and her treatment. So she was wrong and strong. I do not understand how someone like that could be working in HORECA. Shame on you Windows for not training your staff members to be hospitable, caring and accommodating to their clients more so when we were celebrating such an important event with our parents. This female was short medium size black hair, brown in a black dress. Horrible attitude. I will never ever go to Windows again and will definitely not recommend anyone else to go there. My parents are 85 years old and it was their special day and this bad experience almost spoiled their day, Thank God for Marriott's extremely kind and service-able staff at La Vista that treated us with kindness and gave excellent service that their anniversary celebration was saved. I have nothing to hide that is why I will write all the names that witnessed this bad service from this female at Windows.: Roland Ras, Ludwina Geerman, Hans Geerman, Marianela Geerman, Shawndre Geerman, Bryan Gietel, Lourdes Gietel Geerman, Carmen and Ricardo Geerman. Hope Windows management take measures so that no other local should feel unwelcome ever again. Thank you.

Last sunday we went for the brunch. We always feel very welcome, and the food/new menu was (again) delicious
Our water Jacintos was very friendly and professional, just as the very nice miss Brinkman who seemed to be every where she was needed.
Great job again!
Looking forward to the next time :)

We made reservations for last night not knowing they were having a prix fixe menu; well kind of. It was a fixed price brunch thing. They gave you a menu and you could order as much as you wanted off the menue; apps, main entree, soup, salad and desert. Everything was small plates, and they kept either the mojitos or rossinis coming. The food was really good; we really liked the beef carpaccio, mushroom ravioli, lamb lollipops, Japanese Strip Loin, Pumpkin soup, brownie and profiterole. While the plates were small, you could just keep on ordering until you were full. Yahaira was our server and she was friendly, attentive, and kept our glasses full. The food runner did auction off the food and when I asked whether the champagne was dry or sweet, she had no idea. It was a bit pricey, but given the day and what you could have eaten, it wasn't bad. Overall, another good meal.

This was definitely a top notch brunch experience! Single serving plates that were delicious and put together really well. One seating at 10:30am-2:30pm, make sure you have time to enjoy all the dishes you can! Service was attentive and our waiter frequently took our next order as the plates came out. Make a reservation in advance as this is something on the island you don’t want to miss!

This is our 5th visit. You can’t beat the attentive service. We had the sea bass and shrimp. Veggies were perfectly cooked and the fish was basically baked with no toppings. We had the duck appetizer. Always a good meal.

If I could leave zero I would. Our party of six never made it to the brunch last Sunday as when we arrived at 11:30 we were told our table was given away because we didn't arrive right at the start of lunch. The woman at check in indicated that she called our hotel and was told we weren't staying there. This was a horrible lie as the hotel was in my name and I never told the restaurant where we were staying in my emails to make the reservation. I was also never told that our reservation would be given away if we weren't there right at the start of brunch in the emails when I booked the brunch. I actually emailed the restaurant that morning to say we were running late and did not receive any response. The same woman said my email was never received.
I emailed again Monday before leaving to see if I could speak to a manager before writing a review and did not receive any reply.
All six of us were very excited for the brunch so our day was ruined and the person at the desk said the ONLY thing she could do for us was a discount on a meal at Mulligans. At that point, we did not want to give this establishment any more money so we left.

We love our vacation Sunday Brunch when we’re traveling, and Windows has our favorite. It’s a service of small plates, as you choose, and for the entire time you’re seated. Selections vary from starters to eggs to ‘entree’, and all are unique and well prepared. Set price includes mimosas.

We were told about their Friday Night Late Night Brunch. It begins at 6:30pm with unlimited drinks( limited selection), lovely entertainment, and unlimited servings of fabulous high end small plates. The view was gorgeous of the golf course, beach, and sunset. The service was impeccable. My husband has many food limitations, but the menu was broad enough to make us both happy.. Some of our choices beef cappacio, lobster ravioli, crab cakes, beef tenderloin, tuna poke bowl, fried rice, stuffed shrimp, southwest salad, incredible desserts, scallopes in lobster bisque. It costs $69.00n pp, but well worth it.
