Catherines Cafe Plage on Pigeon Point beach, in our neighbourhood English Harbour. We visit it often but especially on Saturday for late lunch and to be entertained by Sound Citizens for a dance and to enjoy great music in a wonderful setting.

We found this by accident after walking over the cliff from English Harbour and having a swim in the beautiful bay. Expecting just a simple beachfront restaurant we were surprised by this elegant outside dinning spot. The staff were helpful and accommodating and the food delicious and well presented. We only stayed for lunch but the full menu looked excellent.

I cannot recommend this delightful restaurant more highly. The setting is stunning and the food outstanding with the added bonus of caring, polite service. Staff are clearly regarded as family! Added to this, you can pop off for a swim, use their beach loungers and shower. The toilets were immaculate. Decor was tastefully French with plenty of shade to protect... More

We really enjoyed the beach bar, cocktails and great food for at least four days of our holiday. It really is the perfect place to chill out, friendly staff, extremely comfortable surroundings, lovely atmosphere on a great beach. Tasteful music, delicious cocktails and lunch. Please ignore those that say it is expensive - just compare with spending (for two people)... More

We went to Catherine's three times...once for a lovely lunch and twice more just for Damian's cocktails. The lobster salad was delicious and the service was spectacular for our lunch date. For our afternoon cocktails we sat on beach chairs with our feet in the sand and enjoyed the beautiful view of Pigeon Beach.

Visited Catherine's twice last week during Antigua Sailing Week. It never fails to impress with a selection of delicious foods (a bonus that many are Gluten Free !) and a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Our No.1 place in Antigua for a restful and delicious lunch. My only criticism was that we run out of Minuty Magnums (only joking !) .

Does being the last people to leave as the staff does their chores give you any idea of what a great time we had? We closed the place down and danced with the fun staff. Dinner was OUTSTANDING! Mahi-mahi dinners were the most popular, but raves about the duck. Beautiful location. And wonderful friendly service.

Visited during Antigua Sailing week but hit the lay day when all the crews had booked, we hadn't. We had a drink at the bar and received such a friendly welcome and an amazing 'Old Fashioned' we came back for lunch next day, even though it was the other side of the island. Lunch was wonderful, creative and tasty, great... More

This is seriously on the top of my list for the best luncheon experience on Antigua especially on Saturday afternoon. Love to go for a late lunch 2 p.m.... that flows into the band that starts at 330 p.m. The food is divine and a wonderful time.
