If I could give 6 stars, I would! We came for the prix menu during Restaurant Week and everything was fabulous. Photos attached. Have to give so much credit to the owner who was extremely involved, walking around the restaurant all night chatting with tables,...making sure everything was perfect. Just a perfect experience! Must get the passion fruit martini.More

Excellent food, super cute setting, and lovely service. Recommend asking for a table in the garden area when you book!

A charming garden restaurant - be sure to ask for a table outside when you book otherwise you may not get one as it's very popular. The food was excellent - fantastic bread, the menu is predominantly fish and meat and all were very good,...particularly the lobster risotto. They do separate platters of charcuterie and cheese which can be shared as a starter and these were delicious. Vegetarian options were a bit limited. There is a very cool vibe to the place and they played some great music, not too loudly to make conversation difficult. The French owner was delightful and present on both of our visits, checking that everyone was happy. It's a very special spot.More

We had a recommendation from a recent visitor and had a terrific evening. The proprietor and all the staff were very welcoming to a beautiful garden setting (and relocated us indoors when it began to rain). The food (Rillettes and Carpaccio to start followed by...Snapper and Cafe Gourmand) was some of the best I have eaten. Highly recommend.More

Nestled right in the center of English Harbor, the food was very good, the service was excellent, and the ambiance in the outdoor courtyard was lovely.

From the moment we walked thru the courtyard, we knew we were in for a treat. And we were not disappointed. Drinks and service were perfect. Our appetizers, smoked mahi and the lobster fritters, were a great start. The lamb confit and the lobster risotto...are fabulous! Oh, and try the Brussels sprouts. We were stuffed, but decided we must try the desserts. Of course, they were heavenly. Chocolate mousse was smooth and silky and the coconut creme brulee, which I almost didn't get because I'm not fond of coconut, was absolutely delectable!! We ate at many high end restaurants in the area and Colibri was by far THE BEST.More

We have been coming to Colibri for many years and visited twice during our stay. It has a lovely atmosphere and Didier together with his staff makes everyone feel welcome. Essential to book but the food is great.

We were in Antigua for a long-overdue vacation. It happened to coincide with the half-way point between my friend’s 60th birthday (11/15) and mine to come (6/19). The guys told us to pick where we wanted to celebrate and we chose Colibri. It did not...disappoint! First let me say the cocktails are amazing! I got the Ty Colibri which was a refreshing cocktail of vodka and grapefruit, my friend got the watermelon margarita which was equally quenching. For appetizers, the table shared the mussels (plenty to share) and the pumpkin ravioli (4 in an order, so everyone got 1). The ginger sauce on the ravioli was to die for — our guys were using the bread to sop up the extra sauce. The mussels were garlicky, buttery deliciousness (and likewise the bread made a good vessel for the extra garlic butter left behind). For our mains, we got the Blanquette de la Mar; the Wahoo Tahitienne; the Boeuf Bourguignon; and the Lobster Risotto. My friend (who typically does not order fish) could not stop raving about the Wahoo. The beef was tender and excellent and paired excellently with the glass of Bordeaux her guy ordered. The Blanquette de la Mar was - as my husband would say - a ‘throat-gasm’ (that’s a good thing, think of really good sex)…My risotto was rich and creamy with big chucks of lobster, though I made people help me finish because I was saving a space for dessert. Dessert did not disappoint. We ordered the beignets which came with a slightly chili-ed chocolate sauce for dipping. My friend had never had beignets and these were an excellent combination of fried crisp on the outside with airy light pastry on the inside. We also took the recommendation of the wait staff and ordered the lemon tart, which was the special of the evening. The crust was flaky and the lemon curd filling was so tart and delicious. The raspberry sauce was the perfect compliment. I would be remiss if I didn’t mention the beautiful lattes that my friend and I ordered with dessert. They were the perfect ratio of foam to coffee to steamed milk and they were yummy. Add to all of this an extremely attentive wait team who were at your service when they needed to be. There was also a lovely couple preforming live music which was absolutely beautiful (and we knew almost all of the songs). What a wonderful way to spend our mid-point 60th!! We will definitely make Colibri a stop on all future trips to Antigua!!!More

The place is beautifully done and very romantic. We were welcomed and given a space at the bar for some cocktails. The whole ambience was lovely. Serving ladies were very friendly and a brief chat with the owner was nice. Foodwise we had the saltfish...balls (omg!) and the local fish tartare - excellent. Mains were pork curry (average) and the lobster risotto (wonderful). Beignettes for dessert were great. Some of the best cocktails we’ve had too. So why 4 stars and not 5 stars? Reason for this is that the barman kept refering to caucasian guests as “egg whites”, eg. “These drinks are fot the 4 egg whites over there”, and also when serving ours to the waitress refered to us as “egg whites” not realising that we were sat next to him. Tbh didnt bother me but my wife found it very derogatory. Having said that would definitely return..!! Merci bien!More

Service, food and atmosphere are all really good. Nice wide choice on the menu. Wines too, although could do with a few more at the lower end. Location is on the road and with no views, but they've done a great job with lighting and...plants so the ambience is lovely. Only criticism is that they play some really incongruous and occasionally unpleasant music - not French, not Caribbean - and some evenings it's far too loud. In all other respects this is one of the best restaurants on the island.More

This place was a very pleasant surprise for me. Growing up in St. Paul here in Antigua and Barbuda, I frequent the English Harbor area a lot and would have occasion to dine at various eateries that have come and gone. I must say, everything...from the time we entered was on point. And the thing of it is that I had never even seen the restaruant before. It was nestled so quaintly in the midst of the area that I missed it and may have missed out on a truly enjoyable experience had I not seen the reviews here. The atmosphere was wonderful, the ambience majestic, the service A+ class and impeccable and the Manager was worth everything that they are paying him. They made sure we were comfortable, constantly checked on us to see if we had any problems and the food was delightful when it came out. And mind you, it arrived promptly and was exquisite. I would recommend to any native or visitor and further, I hope to return again soon, now that I know it exists. Kudos and tremendous thanks to the Manager, staff and the Head Chef and his/her entire kitchen. Of note it is French cuisine with a balance of other dishes from here and away so you may not find a rice dish if you are looking for one. You can choose to find that at the many, many restaurants here on island. However this should not be a minus, just a preference for some and noteworthy to set proper expectations.More
