This beach bar is in a fabulous spot next to an historic fort and on the end of a stunning beach. It's a 10/15 minute drive from central St John's and there is plenty of parking. They provide sun beds if you want to chill...before or after your meal. I enjoyed a very good chickpea and lentil salad - I can't remember what my husband eat as I was so chilled!More

Fabulous location right on Fort James beach. Excellent menu choices, tasty food, friendly service and reasonable prices. We had the coconut prawns and spicy chicken salad for lunch but we will be back dinner

The ambiance and decor in the restaurant was great as it’s on point with the Beach Vibe theme. Service was ok and food was mediocre. I had the fungee balls and they were good but… the wings were perfect. The ribs were not good at...all, they lacked flavor, seasoning, bland and were very fatty. The drinks were not good either as we ordered a whiskey sour and it was all whiskey , no lime or sugar . So we played it safe and just ordered mixers Our server Denise was excellent and her smile and great service saved the night. My friend don’t want to come back but I’m willing to give it another shot because of Denise our server Forgot to mention the entertainment 10 out of 10More

We loved the live band. Service was great. However the food was mid at best and we found it more expensive than some of the fancier spots we dined at. Would go back for a drink and to listen to live music but wouldn't dine...there again.More

Staying on the island for a couple of months so started to use this place for drinks , lunch and evening meals on a regular basis. Probably spent over 1000EC$ with them during our first couple of weeks. Not a kings ransoms but not insignificant....Decided to spend the day there so asked if we had lunch and drinks all day if we could use their sun beds. Their bar and beach area were almost deserted and we were told we could. We ate lunch and went over to the sun beds but were then told it would 8 US$ per bed and 15 US$ for the umbrella. We decided against the charges and won’t be going back. Very short sited and disappointing.More

We had an amazing Sunday evening with really nice munchy bites and a bottle of house White followed by quite a few local rum and gingerale. Our waitresses were super busy ad the place was packed but they kept us updated with info of the...food and paid attention to us all the time The band Kuttin Edge was playing and there was a really good Vibe Prices were affordable and we highly recommend to go there for a fun experience Thank you to the host ValentinaMore

Amazing position, with the sun setting and sinking into the sea. With the sound of the waves breaking gently onto the rocks and the beach. Add to that proper rum punch, coconut shrimps, blackened mahi, and lava cake with vanilla ice cream. All that with...friendly service at a relaxed Antigua pace (this not some manic city) made for a lovely last evening of our holiday. And it wasn’t chance that we came here on our last evening. We had been here at the start of our holiday too.More

Went for early dinner after business meetings. Not so good: - The prices are high, but then Antigua generally is expensive. - Not an easy place to get to and from after dark. You need to drive along a dark, rough road. Very Good: Pleasant...ambiance and service, clean, great views, and most importantly in a restaurant - good food. The ingredients were definitely fresh and locally sourced, fried food not too greasy. I will return. Varied menu. The nearby beach is beautiful and seems like this would be a nice place to lime during the day as the name suggests.More

Beach is where it is just NE of St John. It was a surprise venue considering its location (difficult to find at night). The food is local and well prepared. The hosts are very friendly.

Considering nice view and proximity to St Johns it might be a nice stop for those coming from cruise vessels, however if you stay a bit longer I would not recommend it for lunch unless you just want to have few drinks. Service is veeery...slow and inattentive (unless you are served by the owner himself), furniture is broken and shaky, and price is very high for the place. For local lobster lunch we paid around US$300 which is for such basic place, however the food itself was nice and tasty. As we visited it at one of our first days we later discovered that they actually serve somewhat the most expensive lobsters on the island!!More

This is a GREAT excursion from the cruise ship but you book it on line. Had a great lunch and drinks … they have a funny billing basically you have a minimum to eat and drink but DO NOT WORRY it is fine and the...food and drinks are great. Loved this place and will go back. I’m here now and it is a must visit. Ps. The beach is verrry pretty. The umbrellas and chairs are included. Just go.More
