This market has pretty much everything you'll need for grocery shopping/pharmacy and including liquor. Store is displayed nicely, and very clean. The not so good news (but expected, because this is an island market ) the prices are expensive. These are approximate prices based on US currency. BB tuna 3.50, DD coffee 13.00,1 lb bacon 26.00, 1 lb sliced cheese 9.00, lb pasta 3.00,1 case carona beer 40.00.... There are two locations that I am aware of, a smaller store in Jolly Harbour, great if youll be sailing for the week, as we did and a much larger store in St Johns. They also offer a service to cart your groceries to your vessel, which is very helpful. Overall, love this market!

This store is very clean and has a huge selection of fruits, vegetables, meat(including rotisserie chicken), canned goods, and wine and spirits. If you don’t have your own recycled shopping bags you can get them there. You can use credit and they have several “working” ATMs. Really the best we found!

Same old story ongoing
Yes its a big supermarket, but some times it feels like you buying at a local chinese supermarket.
Visit this shop for over 2 years, price on shelve not always the same with cashier.
The bread area is terrible, check always the date on the bread, there is always old bread from 4 days in the front and the new on the back...if you would like to sell your old bread make the price lower..i brought it up to one of the managers, there is no interest, they just like to sell old stuff, shame !

Super SUPER overpriced. Rip-off. Avoid at all costs. Some examples:
• Latino yogurt $12 usd
• Small magnum ice creams $15usd
• Pasta Sauce $16usd
They claim “premium” brands when they have stale packaged pastries found at most USA gas stations.
Go to ANY of the other grocery stores around the area but avoid this one at all costs. Think of a Wegman’s or Whole Foods but on steriods while offering WalMart like quality products. See receipt for detail.

Frequented the Jolly Harbour location and found almost everything we could ask for except fresh fish. We went to the vendor across the street for that.

I am quite surprised to read some of the reviews. There is no way that EPICURIAN can be compared to any gourmet grocer.
Staff helpful, pleasant.
Stock--hmmmm. Nearly everything is exported thus buyers must pay nearly double for products...not management's fault, but we are not talking Whole Foods--apples and oranges.
Prepared foods are only suitble for those who DO NOT care about their health. Not here. Fried everything / doesn't appear fresh. I had to pay US $11.00 for a small box of blueberries--maybe half a cup.
Produce shelves are empty half of every week.
The kicker is that there is NO competition on Antigua so EPI has a captive client base. Locals normally buy soda, cabdy bar and cheese sandwiches on big roll-as this is all most cn afford.
Don't expect to find many common ingredients. It's not the fault of the opertion---it's run well, 7 days a week, but to find appealing food is rare.
First, this is NOT a restaurant-it's a large grocery store.
The reviews I have read are incorrect--I live nearby. Whomever wrote well stocked makes me wonder where they live as I;m certain they are tourists.
Management as mentioned is excellent and willing to source products--but they rarely if ever arrive. Most of the Caribbean has the ame issues - but expect to spend much more than you are accutomed to for products or brands from Trinidad, So America and sometimes Canada.

If you have a fridge and space take a cab here to stock up. It has everything including wine at good prices. We bought cheese, crackers etc to snack on in our room and were pleased with the selection

We stayed in a villa and visited Epicurean after trying a different grocery store for some essentials, soda and light breakfast/lunch food. It's a large store, very clean, and has great selection of grocery items, household items, and drinks.

Epicurean market was a large supermarket with bakery, deli, and other specialized areas in the market. This store would be popular in any big city in the U.S.; it always had everything on our list with great selection and variety.

This is by far the best place for every day shopping, beyond the fresh produce from the market that is. It is huge, with all manner of groceries, including French cheeses - at exorbitant prices - take away, a well appointed pharmacy, and nice staff.

Really nice, clean store with just about anything you might need for a small holiday in the island. They have a good assortment of go and grab lunches and pre-made items for everyone in the family.

Fantastic to find a good gluten free selection, especially as it can be difficult to find gluten free food on the island. I hope that their gluten free options keep expanding!
