My husband and I were walking through St. John’s and asked a local for roti and he sent us there. We shared a chicken curry roti that filled our plate. Awesome spices that created a great flavour. Filled us up. Unfortunately it was our last day on the island or we would have gone again. The cook was very friendly. This place is busy so you know it’s good.

Stopped off as we saw this place was busy at lunchtime. Good choice! Massive curried chicken roti full of spices. So filling and tasty we didn’t really need the excellent piping hot portion of fries we had also ordered.

Located in a typical Caribbean building, this restaurant serves delicious "rotis" Indian style wraps with daily special choices including BBQ chicken. Easy to eat vegetarian. Very friendly owner and staff, excellent service and very good value. We also enjoyed the local lime juice. Highly recommend if you enjoy experiencing local life and cuisine.

Roti King was on our list of must try places in Antigua but our visit was disappointing. On the plus side staff were friendly and wanted proof of vaccination but on the down side not all items on the menu were available and when the food came it was rather bland. Portions are huge which is great if you are hungry but it got a bit repetitive after a while.

Read reviews about this local spot and it’s really true about what people states. It can be deceiving from the outside but the food are amazingly good and cheap eats. Seems like all the locals come here to eat and order to go . They have tons of bench tables outside for dining in . We had the chicken curry along with the beef curry . We requested for the bottle of hot sauce it’s a must and tasted so good with the sauce . Both chicken and beef was so delicious . We will come back for it again since it’s a quick bite and don’t need to spend money if you are on a budget.

This was our first visit to St. John’s. The Roti King was highly recommended to us. The food was even better than we expected. Mr. Hill was so nice and accommodating. I called him before we visited and told him that I am gluten free. He picked up gluten free wraps for me and I had the most delicious chicken roti. My family all loved their roti wraps as well. I highly recommend to anyone who is visiting St. John’s and who is looking to try delicious local food.

This is a real locals place we didn’t see another tourist the whole time we were there. The rotis are delicious. We tried one shrimp and one chicken and both were sooo tasty with the perfect blend of spice. This is a very casual eatery with lots of people doing take away, so don’t expect fine dining but do expect hearty, delicious portions of goodness!

Before we hit the shopping in St John’s, we needed food... Roti King is the place to fuel up! The roti’s are amazing! So good and full of tender beef or chicken, other flavours too, but this is what we ate. My beef roti was perfect, tender meat, flavourful gravy, simply delicious! I had the homemade ginger beer and that packed a heated punch, proper ginger! I’m salivating writing this now!

We had two rotis here and were not overwhelmed with the experience overall. We know what the Caribbean is like but it felt like we were not overly welcome even though we reckon we are appreciative when people make a little effort for us. One of our dishes was forgotten - which is Ok - but maybe a little more apology wouldn't go amiss. Rotis themselves were OK but too many cruise ships too often made me feel that effort was not worthwhile. There will be another boat load in tomorrow.....

A wonderful little place with delicious roti and flavorful curries. We went for lunch and split the chicken roti and the channa/potato roti. Both were excellent, but the chicken stole the 1st prize, with its perfectly seasoned and cooked meat. These roti are big, so go with an appetite. The woman who owns the place waits on people at the counter, and she came by our table to check on us. Lovely people, great roti.

I’ll be the first to admit that I had never had Roti before going to Roti King so had nothing to compare it to but I can say it was delicious and that’s good enough for me! I had the chicken roti the first time, then had to go back for the conch roti. My husband had the shrimp so we shared both. The conch was so tender and flavorful! The shrimp was a little overcooked but still delicious. If I ever make it back to Antigua I will definitely eat here again....more than once!

Was given a recommendation from a local boat captain for the Roti King food truck. We had no idea what roti was but so glad we gave it a shot. Roti is a type of thin bread that the Roti King stuffs with different curried meats and veggies. Had the chicken roti, goat roti and vegetable roti. All were excellent. Each roti is enough for two people (even our insatiable teens could not finish one). Stop by and say hi to Mr. Hill (the king himself). You will not be disappointed.

Best food on the island so far... had a veggie roti and it was sumptuous and filling. Service was quick, staff were polite, inside and outside seating. It's not gourmet food but tastes like good home cooked well- seasoned food and that's exactly what I was after

We made a special stop at Roti King on our way from our resort to the airport. Best decision we made in Antigua! The rotis are ample, delicious and perfectly seasoned. Definitely come hungry. The fresh carrot juice was also delicious.

Legit local means, locally owned and operated featuring "local" cuisine, in this case, local juices, doubles and roti. The curry is good, really savory and packed with flavor. The roti is a little thick but good. One love for Roti King
