As an expat living in Anguilla Roys delivers great food. Try their daily specials for a nice treat. I have had a lobster burger and a lamb burger that were impressive. The place is very clean.

Very casual lunch and dinner spot on the beach in Sandy Ground. Plenty of parking available. The food is wonderful and tastes like your mom just made it! One of the few places that serves good steak! The seafood is always fresh. We love it...here and love the friendly owners too! See you again at the end of the year!More

Our group came to play trivia and eat dinner. We had a great time and actually won! Everyone enjoyed their food, however, the reason for 4 stars was service. About 20 minutes after ordering drinks, we still didn't have water or the bottle of wine...we were sharing. When asked, there seemed to be mass confusion on what happened and who was doing what. We waited another 10 minutes or so before we finally had the drinks. There was also a considerable delay with our food when tables all around us ordered around the same time and were done eating by the time we received ours. That said, you're on island time and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Our food was good too. I'd go again if i was in the area and wanted a true local experience on the beach.More

Roy’s is like that great friend’s house where you know whenever you visit the food will be plentiful and delicious and the company will be joyful. A bonus here is the unbeatable view. We eat here several times every trip (mostly for breakfast) and are...always happy and full. For breakfast our go-to is the corned beef hash. This is not the mess you get in the states at diners, this is the real deal of tender chunks of corned beef with perfectly cooked potatoes, carrots and onions. I am not sure what spices are used (maybe clove?) to give it that extra flavor but whatever it is, it’s so tasty. This trip we made it for crayfish night which was fantastic and always a crowd pleaser is the fish and chips. In our many visits over the years we have tried almost everything and have never been disappointed. For the flavorful choices, the staff, the ambiance, the view, and the value, Roy’s Bayside Grill will always stay at the top of our list.More

We always stop for a meal here when in Anguilla. They have great fish and chips, burgers, and probably the best steaks on the island. The staff is friendly and the service is good. It sits on the beach at Sandy Ground so there are...good views while eating.More

I had 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners here, staying nearby so this was a convenient walk. The deck on the beach is awesome and very spacious. The owners were always engaging and friendly, . Service attentive. Best corned beef hash and eggs I’ve ever had....I’ve eaten at too many places to count in Anguilla and I’m happy to add this to the list.More

Stopped by here for lunch and really enjoyed the meal and view. We started off with the daily special - conch tacos that we had as an appetizer. So good - great flavor with a kick. I had the AG Burger and it was delicious,...the bun soft and freshly baked. The onion rings were freshly cut and battered, I love real onions rings and these hit the spot. My husband enjoyed his lobster pasta and we both enjoyed the rum punches. It was a beautiful day in Sandy Ground and we enjoyed the view along with the great lunch. My only let down was that we had hoped to get my dad a shirt (his name is Roy) but they didn’t have any in his size. We will be back in March with my dad in tow and hope they will have some shirts then!More

Dropped off in the bay on a catamaran trip from St Maarten, lunch pre-arranged for us, it was basic but very tasty. Spent an hour or so chillin and soaking up the vibes. Lovely

From Zemi it’s about a 15 minute cab ride and round trip for two will likely cost about the same as renting a car for an entire day. Taxis can be expensive and Anguilla is an explorer’s island. I would recommend you rent a... More
