We won't be going back. Unwelcoming, both staff and locals. Wouldn't recommend the pie but the gammon was good.

Very nice place to eat and drink, just keep away from horsey gap car park.plenty of parking space.lovely walk to the beach

Pub basic pub food. Very busy. Can't book just turn up and hope has table. Good valve. Big starters lovely chips. Home cooked. Good to park in car park if you let them know you will be coming back.

Just spent a couple of nights at the Nelson. We were made very welcome and enjoyed the food, beer ambience. Made new friends and saw in the new year. Loved it.

I can't praise the staff of this pub enough, they have always been very welcoming. The food is perfect, big portions, delicious and beautifully presented. We will be back in the spring.

Hi there I had lunch there last Friday 9th November 2018 Kitchen is open at 12 noon As it’s their busy season with the seals pupping, I advise booking, especially on a sunny weekend.
