Food was tasty, but no matter how much you asked for the tuna steak to be rare it never happened. Took 3 staff members asking for the drinks order to get it to us. After 20 minutes.

We were staying at the Rarotongan and decided to try out the in resort restaurant. We were seated in one of the huts which was a novelty factor for the kids. Service was average overall, and we had to wait for 45 mins for our dessert to come. Food was ok, my meat feast pizza was sadly lacking in meat,... More

We booked a table for 4 to be seated outside in a hut and then was told that we hadn't reserved a hut and had to be seated in the walkway. Our food took over an hour and the female singer (although fab) was glaringly too loud. When we got our food it was cold! Then when asked if we... More

We were on our honeymoon during cyclone season, so we were lucky to have almost the whole restaurant to ourselves! We sat in a little wooden hut next to the ocean and watched the sunset over the largest and most delicious seafood platter for two! The food was great and such good value for money, we couldn't even finish our... More

Had dinner at Captain Andy's a few times whilst on the island and unfortunately every time that we went there was hardly any seafood on the menu, unless you were ordering the seafood platter! What we did get was tasty, so can't complain! Lol

This review does not end well!!! Decided to drive around to the Rarotongan for a meal as hadn't tried it before, will never ever go back again and feel sorry for people staying there that will eat there alot no doubt. Firstly we were sat so faraway from others that were eating there (not that many either) thought we would... More

We were so disappointed by this place. The restaurant itself was tired looking with plastic table cloths and tatty menus. It is also next to a the pool area which is just a giant plastic waterfall and pool next to some grubby sun loungers. The portions are huge but the food is decidedly average. I left most of my steak... More

We stayed at the Rarotongan Resort where Andys is the main eatery at the Resort, the food is average bar food not too bad to eat . The bar and grill area look very tired and need to have a good freshen up and the menu upgraded, sometimes the service was very ordinary, but the staff were always very nice... More

The food is ok overall, but after a couple of days you quickly have exhausted the menu. Portion are ok for adults, but kids one are tinny. Service is ok, plenty of seatings.
