A lovely small place for lunch, make sure you book. Great local food and wine. Reasonably priced, friendly and welcoming staff, worth a visit .

Excellent small restaurant situated on a side street, behind the market hall. Seats are stools and the restaurant is unpretentious, but the food is worth making the effort to find the restaurant. The ham and salad for starters were mouth wateringly good, and the steak on a stone melted in the mouth. House wine was very gluggable, and the bill... More

Small, very small actually, family run restaurant. 9 tables mainly filled with locals. Go with the flow for great food and reasonable wine. Lots of atmosphere and personality. Great value.

Excellent quality food, very well prepared with local ingredients. The place is small and unusual but the genuine sympathy, good service and perfect food is for sure to repeat. Thanks!

This little taverna style restaurant is well worth finding. It is small, there are only 20 seats inside but its great. We went at lunchtime and had starters, salad, main course, desert, coffees and wine for 36 euros.... The food is very authentic Portuguese fare and the veal and pork are specialities of the house. Extremely friendly staff. We were... More

We ate at Taska Quim Barbeiro in Vidago twice during our stay at the Vidago Palace hotel. There are only about 4 tables in the small restaurant so we asked the hotel to book a table for us to ensure we would be able to eat there. There is a menu but the choice seemed to be rather limited to... More

We found this little restaurant by chance. We only spoke English but the owner could not have been more helpful. The starters were ham, cheese, olives and bread, all delicious. We let the owner choose for us and were not disappointed. We had the veal, beautifully cooked and absolutely delicious. The local red wine was also lovely but most of... More

Location: Located in Vidago village near the Vidago palace and city center. Since this is a small village it's not hard to find. Decor & Place Small place with 4 tables, I recommend to book in advance. Decoration is the typical one in this kind of place "tasca" or "bodega" with lots of artifacts from local agriculture and business history.... More
