Delicious smoothies, and perfect hangout place. The location is pretty cool and off the beaten path. Located right on the water, we hangout for a couple hours and drank smoothies. Delicious. Wish we had done the chocolate tour. Looked pretty cool.
Chocolate, jungles and yoga. A perfect combination. We loved our stay here - the staff were friendly & helpful and the dinner (family style) was delicious followed by the famous chocolate ball. There weren’t facilities to make our own food though so bring snacks /...plenty of cash to pay the tab at the end.
We did some day trips around the island and enjoyed the waterfall and kayaking. It’s a little more expensive here than other parts of Nicaragua but worth it.More
This place has so much peace! It is right on the water and you hear the waves all night. The vibe is so welcoming and the people (both staff and guests) make you feel like you belong. I booked for 2 nights and ended up...staying 9. I didn’t climb the volcanos but we went to ojo de agua and the water is paradise. Also, having paddle boards available was unique and so much fun!!
The chocolate is pure, raw, and delicious. I’ve never been exposed to vegan food but this was by far the best healthy food I’ve ever eaten. You gotta come and stay here if you’ve chosen the island of Ometepe to stay while you’re in Nicaragua. Even if you choose not to stay on the island, at least make a day trip to come to El Pital. It’s totally worth the trip!More
Just went there to try the chocolate, and It was hands down the best chocolate smoothie I’ve ever had. The volunteers are very nice and welcoming.
Just be careful if you’re going with a scooter the entrance is too bumpy and downhill, so you might...need to park your scooter at the entrance and walk.More
What a place! Stunning views, scrumptious smoothies, desserts and food (ALL vegan and largely made from products grown on site). Really high quality cacao and chocolate - healthy with natural sweeteners. Not to mention the chill vibes and activities available. Swing overhanging the lake, aerial...silks, slackline, books, instruments and games. Oh, and did I mention the hammocks!? A real paradise for vegans and chocolate lovers.
More

Its sad to say this happened in such an open cultured island but one of the managers treated me with racism. The vibe is super hippie but sadly also kind of narcissist.
The local crew is super friendly and the spot is beautiful!
The dorms...get really hot in the early morning, at since it has glass windowsMore
I arrived to this beautiful place fully green next to lake with the view of the special volcano and tasted the best raw cacao that I ever had. I make a small tour with one of the guys that explained me about the chocolate and...the howl idea of the project as planting trees food gardens and special healthy raw chocolate. Very good experience to chill next to lake with some really tasty cacao products if you get there you must try the magic bowl desert it blow my mind.More
We went there to see the factory and to try some chocolate as we've seen good comments on tripadvisor. The food is way too expensive there (6$ for small chocolate bar, more than 8$ for chocolate dessert). We finally bought 1 chocolate bar to try...it and it was good, that's why we gave 2 stars. But this place claims to be hippie, and that is definitly not what they look like : overpriced for what they provide and staff not nice at all. We were super disappointed and will not come back.More
