Went there for lunch. As recommended by Rick Stein had sopa de ajo and duelos & quebrantos. The garlic soup was a bit watery. The main tasted wonderful but I could not see the lamb's brain, maybe it was dissolved as it is rather soft fatty tissue. The taste was great though. Good service but rather expensive. With two glasses... More

We stopped at Venta del Quijote for lunch on our road trip from Gaudix back to Madrid. It was highlighted in our Back Roads Spain driving book, and we are so glad we stopped. We loved the ambiance, Don Quixote themes, upstairs free museum of Quixote illustrations, and most of all, we loved the food. Timing is everything! There were... More

This a must stop, this restaurant offers a great cheese table sampler, I really enjoy the own cheese brand, is very good, the aged sheep, is must, combined with Iberic ham and a local vino tinto glass, is a perfect combination to enjoy , after a long walk to the historic wind mills, from Don Quijote, get some azafran, is... The Restaurante Venta Del Quijote, was an organized stopover for lunch with our tour group. A small bowl of vegetable stew, one slice of Spanish omelette, a beer and tea- 20 Euro's, expensive at half the price. The cafeteria style line up and poor service did not help. Being seasoned travellers, we know better than to eat at these pre-organised... More

Our tour bus stopped at this location for lunch. Lunch items were over priced for what you get. We had the soup and it was better than average. The restaurant looks nice and gives you an area to spend a little time walking around. Don Quixote items are scattered around the place. This restaurant was mentioned in the Don Quixote... More

The place looks nice, but that's about it. Overpriced food, bad customer service. Looks like they are making business off the bus tours, so don't care much of individual clients. Stay away.

This is a great place to visit if your are a fan of Don Quijote, the scene of the knighting of The Man of La Mancha, it's been there a long time, food is regional for that area of Spain, classic
