Great place for seafood with a family atmosphere. Right across from the beach. To early or make a reservation, there is always a long line, but worth the wait. Great play area for the kids too.

Been several times over the years. Always a great experience with the staff. Food and drink are always good. The kids love the huge play area set up for them and the beach buckets the kids meals are served in. The outdoor dining area is great to sit in the breeze and listen to the band.

This is a great place for families, but it always so crowded. If seated in the inside, it's a very tight fit. The grouper sandwich is awesome.

As others have mentioned, the Fried Seafood selections are pretty darn good. Oyster's are good (I like the Rockefeller and Parmesan). DON'T DRINK more than 3 Shipwrecks or the drive back to your condo/hotel room/home will be dangerous- Police everywhere. (I always get the Grouper Nuggets and cold boiled Shrimp- tasty!) The MUSIC is typically excellent! We saw a young... More

Food is out of this world. It's a local hangout too so you know it has to be great! Fun atmosphere with a play area downstairs. Get there early. There's usually a wait. That's the only downside. If you aren't starving it's worth the wait.

The restaurant seems old and not very clean. I had grouper sandwich. Son had oysters and fried platter. All food was decent. My mango margarita came in a styrofoam cup and the waiter spilled it all down the side of the cup. He apologized and said he would be back with napkins to clean it up. Had to flag him... More

We first discovered this restaurant on PBeach a couple of years ago and flipped over how good the baked oysters were. We got turned on to grilled oysters at New Orleans (NOLA) and have been looking for something to be as good. This was the place. In fact, due to my schedule, my wife ended up eating there three times... More

We decided to hit Peg Leg Pete's for lunch and decided to get Imperial oysters, Grouper Nuggets, crab stuffed shrimp and red beans and rice to share. It was really good! We sat by the guy shucking the oysters and they were working really hard! We forgot to take a picture before but sometimes the after picture tells a story... More

The family and I went to the beach for the first time. We stayed at Spring Hill suites. I went and asked the bar tender where was a good place to eat? She said peg leg petes. So we went down there and it was a great atmosphere and the food was delicious. I had never really ate seafood and... More

We rolled in for lunch with a large family group. There was a little wait, but not unusual for a tourist town. The food was excellent, great oysters, grouper, shrimp, burgers. Of exceptional note was the restaurant's commitment to service and caring for patrons with gluten allergy. One of the managers will come to the table to discuss your needs... More
