I'd have given it a 3.5 if that was an option. We had heard about this restaurant from other locals, and were very excited to try it. After an hour wait (expected on a weekend), we were excited to try the food. Our waitress and other staff were excellent. Attentive, friendly and helpful. The oysters were enormous - we have... I loved this place; the decor was very sea-sidey, service was fast and efficient and the food was very good. A must stop on your trip!

After a long day at the beach we were all starving. My oldest son was wanting to eat crablegs and had read the reviews on this restaurant and saw that they were all good. The meal was excellent and also the drinks that my husband and I had. My youngest enjoyed the chicken tenders.(he's a picky eater) We would definitely... More

Good food and atmosphere. Long wait, but hey, that's the beach in July. At least we were able to get a cocktail quickly while waiting the ~50 minutes for a table. Once seated we were happy to be inside with air conditioning, as the waiting area(s) are all outside with little exposure to a breeze. The four of us had... More

We knew from the beginning there would be a wait, and there was. It was about 45 minutes. They texted us when our table was ready. We had a cocktail while we waited and listened to a great band. I had the Cajun oysters, my wife had stuffed shrimp and daughters had chicken and the steamed crab legs. Prices were... More

Peg leg Pete's was so busy and the food was excellent. We could not believe the wait for service do we choose to zsit at bar. The seafood was so good. The atmosphere was so up beat and fun! There was a band playing and they were awesome. I just can't say enough good things about this place!

Love this place! Was recommended by a friend to go. Best crab legs we ever had! The chef really knew how to cook them. Kids loved it and really enjoyed the atmosphere. Kids food served in a bucket, nice touch! We will definitely return. Awesome staff too!

Crab claws, grouper sandwich, bread pudding to die for! Great food, great service, fun atmosphere! They have a play area for kids, which makes this place perfect for families with young children!

It's tradition. Every year we eat here when we visit during July 4th week. Crowds are not a problem. We're used to those. The wait doesn't bother us either. Again, we're used to that. (Although I love the new app, Nowait) The girls at the front were exhausted and it showed. We went downstairs for a drink while we waited.... More

Went to Peg Leg Pete's for an early dinner (4:20 pm) and the place was packed! Despite the crowd we got a table quickly and were waited on promptly. The decor is a really kool, nautical theme with more stuff than you could imagine hanging from the walls. We ordered the half-dozen oysters imperial ($9.99) that were scrumptious. We then... More
