Was looking for a spot for my besties birthday and this ended up being the perfect one! We didn’t reserve but got there early and got the perfect seats by the outside bar. Jeanna took amazing care of us and allowed us to space everything...out and take our time. Started with raw and Cajun oysters, then mango scallops (raw), lobster ravioli and crab cakes. Ended our meal with the lava cake and espresso martini! I couldn’t have planned a better meal 🤩🤩 or view💕More

Thank you to the staff at drift for a excellent visit. Restaurant is fairly new. Beautiful dining room and fun deck dining right by the board walk. Of course the sunsets are unbelievable but so the is the service and food. From the moment we...walked in Maria made us comfortable with our selection of a table and a little history of the restaurant. Our server Brittany was fabulous in running through the menu selections and wine list. Brittany was fantastic in pacing our night, we love to enjoy a long dinner experience and not rush from course to course. Started with cocktails and the coconut crab cakes...great choices in bar beverages. The chef had a fresh Chilean sea bass that was not on the menu but Brittany described it to a t and it did not disappoint. Great menu options from steaks, fresh seafood and pastas. All in all great surprise on the beach to get away from the packed (every menu looks alike) restaurants at a beach town. Nice to dress and enjoy a formal night out. Thank you to the staff.More

It was a very pleasant experience at the Drift. It’s upscale but not stuffy. You can wear casual clothes or dress it up. We sat on the outside deck and it was absolutely beautiful with the Gulf of Mexico a few hundred yards away. The...food was delicious. It’s a bit pricey but worth it. Our server, Melanie, was delightful and knowledgeable about all menu items. We had the calamari appetizer, Melanie’s suggestion, which was soooo good and a huge portion. When our Chilean sea bass arrived, we had to take 3/4 of it home. It was the most delicious fish I have ever tasted, even the next day. The Drift is not a place I would go to often but it’s a perfect place for that special occasion. Also on a side note, they have an outside bar with reasonable drink prices with a gorgeous view of the sunset.More

Entrance was a little confusing and we ended up going in a door that wasn’t the entrance...but once inside we were greeted warmly and quickly seated. Our server was Carolina and she was very helpful. We ordered the watermelon tomato salad which was a perfect...light starter. For dinner my husband ordered the Wagyu medallions and I ordered the Red Snapper. I will start by saying we both enjoyed our meals however, we have eaten Wagyu several times and reputable restaurants and this was more like regular filet. It was delicious and tender but not the fatty, butteriness you expect from Wagyu. The red snapper description led me to believe I would get a Mediterranean style fish with tomatoes, capers & olives but it was more of an Italian style. I believe it was breaded & fried and then it was topped with a spaghetti type sauce. Again, it was tasty but not what I expected based on the description. We would absolutely go back again. Service was great, good drinks, great views.More

Nice place, great view. Food was goid, had onion soup- very goid, raw scallops were excellent except there was to much extraneous stuff on plate for appearance they did not add to the experience, baked oysters exceptional, lemon chicken only tasted like le!on- just to...much. Overall nice meal, good service, yummy drinks but just have to question the cost. BillMore

We returned to Pensacola Beach after having lived there back 2004-2006. Drift is a new addition on top of Casino Beach Bar and Grille, and is upscale. We loved the open air feel of the large outdoor patio (covered) especially during the COVID times. The...food was top quality, and we particularly enjoyed the tuna entree, oysters, and the heirloom tomato/watermelon salad! The service was outstanding BOTH times we went this week- yes, we loved it so much our first night on vacation that we returned our last night as well!More

This is an excellent restaurant. It’s more upscale and pricey and the menu isn’t really kid friendly, but it’s an excellent date night/ couples dining experience. The service was excellent and the food was very fresh. We sat on the deck and really enjoyed the...atmosphere. Get the lobster mac & cheese. It’s awesome! We will definitely be back.More
