Nice atmosphere, I had the salmon and it was delicious. The cheesecake was good also. A little pricey ($55 for an appetizer, drink, meal, and dessert), but we would dine here again if we should happen to be in this area in the future.

The Grouper was the best that I have had. I also had the Seafood Gumbo which was awesome. The dessert in a Praline shell filled with ice cream, berries and a chocolate sauce was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Me and my boyfriend went this past Sunday night and had such a great dinner. For starters, our server Ramon was great. Very knowledgeable about the offerings and very enjoyable to talk to. Everything about the dinner was great as well. I had a lemon martini, the kale caesar and picotta grouper and my boyfriend had a draft from a... More

About a dozen of us attended this event. We had a great time, the food and drink were all top notch. Best part of the experience is that I don't remember much about the wait staff other than the facts that they were efficient and unobtrusive. I know that many restaurants want your server to be "memorable!" If I am... More

Celebrating our BDs at the Grand Marlin is becoming a new family tradition for us. We love the prime rib on Sundays & the chef's signature dessert cannot be beat! We had made a reservation & were seated immediately but not near the water as we had requested. There are only a few tables by the water. Don't know what... More

And great service, too. Generous portions of well prepared fish and shrimp. Try the potato chips with blue cheese and bacon!

Our broker took us to lunch here while visiting Pensacola Beach. We started off with a calamari, jalapeno, and pickles appetizer. I had the fish wrap, my husband had the chicken quesadilla (since he doesn't eat much seafood) and our broker had a fish sandwich. Everything was cooked very nicely. The views of the area were nice in every direction.... More

My wife and I wanted to try this restaurant since we had never been there. I ordered my steak diner, it had broccoli and I specifically asked to remove the broccoli as I had an antipathy for broccoli. My meal came to my table with broccoli, I almost got sick. The steak was tough and not tasty at all.

Description
The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, and private meeting rooms. This Pensacola Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Pensacola Bay Area. Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin has a space and atmosphere for all occasions and is looking forward to creating an authentic experience between time and tide.
