Went in the evening and had a very nice meal with some adult beverages and enjoyed the cool breezes of the bay. The dessert of Praline bowl was fantastic. Ice cream and chocolate served in a Praline firmed bowl. Yummy!

We ate here last night and it was wonderful. We watched a beautiful sunset while my husband ate oysters that were delicious and I had a very tasty shrimp cocktail. Fantastic wine list along with a very nice and knowledgeable waiter. I had a filet that was cooked perfect. My humans had the red snapper that he devoured!! Very nice... More

Wow. I have eaten a lot of seafood (I grew up on the gulf coast) and at a lot of high-quality restaurants in my life, but this was a stand-out. My family of 5 adults ate on a Wednesday evening; we made reservations, and we were seated within 5 minutes of arrival. We ordered the lobster fingers and BBQ shrimp,... More

Well this is year #4 to celebrate our son's birthday. This year he celebrated his 10th birthday, or as he refers to it ... "Double Digits". We love the Grand Marlin as they are so hospitable and allows us to bring our son's small family birthday cake in advance & our server comes out singing "Happy Birthday", which we had... More

The food is amazing. We've visited several times and had had incredible dishes. The gumbo is some of the best I've ever tasted!

The drinks were good, the meal was excellent, and we enjoyed the atmosphere. Wait staff was excellent as well only reason that this is not 5 stars was the wait seems longer than needed considering empty tables.

Terrific food, service and atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Eat inside or in the outside bar area which has windows opening on the bay. We always eat here when we are in town. The Grouper Picata is a must have! Their signature dish. And for desert, the praline ice cream bowl is a perfect ending.

We eat here each time we visit the area. Service is well beyond what you get anywhere else. Always feel welcome & appreciated by the staff. Food is more than worth the price. And the bar drinks never disappoint. Our server made sure we never felt rushed & checked on us just the right amount. If you visit Pensacola Beach,... More

Description
The Grand Marlin Restaurant features a main dining area with a shucked to order oyster bar, exterior North Drop Bar overlooking the beautiful Santa Rosa Sound, and private meeting rooms. This Pensacola Beach restaurant, with an air of island casualness, serves the highest-quality cuisine, including the freshest local seafood featured on menus designed and printed daily to take advantage of the local bounty. The atmosphere creates a fusion of the Caribbean and the Pensacola Bay Area. Executive Chef Gregg McCarthy has a passion for great-tasting food and particularly loves working his culinary magic with fresh Gulf Coast seafood. Boaters and beach-goers feel comfortable in shorts and flip-flops at the oyster bar, in the dining room and at the North Drop Bar. The Grand Marlin has a space and atmosphere for all occasions and is looking forward to creating an authentic experience between time and tide.
