Came here just at opening time on a Wednesday night. Very relaxing place with great Mexican food with many vegetarian options. As a Canadian transplanted from California over four decades ago, I can testify that good Mexican food is hard to find as one moves further away from Mexico. Peter and his partner have it figured out. Great to chat... More

It's a bar and a fairly basic one. Can be good depending on the customers that are there as there can be some good lively conversation. Wouldn't bother trying to eat there unless I was very hungry.

A great place to relax after a stressful day and either drink the Guinness which is probably the coldest, best and cheapest Guinness in aisa. The food is excellent especially items on the "secret menu" be sure to ask peter the owner about this. The place is not expensive, ive often got fed and subsequently drunk afterwards for not so much, Great... More

If your looking for a place to have a bite a drink and a chat in Hsindien, then look no further. They have the best burritos on the island in my opinion. It's the kind of place you can just show up by yourself and you're bound to meet someone new. Also a great place to bring a group of... More

Takes forever to get food, staff don't really pay attention to your tables - was at a table of the only customers, had order forgotten and arrived well after everyone had finished.

We had good conversation, excellent food, and a flaming drink, what more could you ask for? The owner is friendly and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Just wonderful. I can't wait to go back with my friends.

Great spot. Thanks to our hotel, we got a recommendation for the Green Hornet and headed over for a quick beer. 3 hours, more than a quick beer and a good sampling of the new Zombie recipes, we left full, and slightly more tipsy than intended. Great crowd, great Taipei tips, good music and a friendly face in a strange... More

We'd just got off a 12hr flight, and only wanted to grab a quick beer before crashing out. Ended up having a great meal, a great chat with the owner and some of the regulars, and walked out of there with some great local tips. We ended up staying there for hours, one of those memorable nights that just happened... More

I visited Green Hornet Cafe in June and it was well worth the trip on the MRT. The owner and staff were very welcoming. The menu had so much good stuff (soup, salad, chili, spaghetti, hot wings...), I wasn't sure what to order. Finally, I decided to order nachos and a soft drink. The food was delicious and I had...
