This dining room has a great view. The food is average, but the prices are high, espeically for breakfast. A short stack of pancakes is nine dollars. Thats crazy.

I visit the Skyland Resort each May and eat here a time or two. The menu is adequate for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You have a nice view of the mountains. The food quality won’t win a 5-star dining contest, but it’s still good. Nice relaxing setting. I always enjoy my meals there.

The food was great, the service a little slow, but don't worry the view is beautiful. Also we went during the off season so it could be they had less staff. Go early to get a seat by the window. We sat down at 5:30 and it was very quiet, by the time we left almost every table was full.... More

The food and the service were excellent! Throw in the view from the dining room, and the combination rivals any at most national parks. It's a given that things will be expensive but the pollock follows it up with quality food and wonderful service.

Thank goodness such a good dining place exists in the heart of the Park! It is especially convenient for Skyland guests, which we were. We had three dinners, three breakfasts, and a lunch there. Dinner included trout, ribs, pasta, roast turkey, and salad with chicken. The she-crab soup was especially good as an appetizer. The blackberry ice cream pie was... More

My daughter enjoyed the ribs and said they were the best she every had! I tried the pot roast and it was delicious. After a day of sight seeing and hiking, it was nice to enjoy delicious food with a beautiful view!
