The Bright Angel Fountain has some breakfast options, coffee, to-go lunches, and ice cream. After getting tired of cold bagels in our hotel room for breakfast for the previous two mornings, we got some breakfast burritos here after watching the sunrise. They were better than...expected. We also treated our kids to ice cream cones from here at 11 am after hiking the Bright Angel Trail--that was the one time I could justify ice cream before lunch. :) During the morning shift, there was only one worker. I felt bad for her, but she kept things moving as fast as she could.More

We got the ham and cheese sandwiches on pretzel bun with chips and an apple with a water container. The meal was fine but it was $15. I guess that comes with the territory of being in a National Park. I must say it was...convenient - so theres that.More

It’s very hard to get any kind of fast food or take-out food in Grand Canyon Village. We did manage to pick up hot dogs and sandwiches from The Fountain once by going there around 4 pm, and the hot dog was pretty good. The...next day, we tried to get coffee there but the lines were incredibly long at both 1 and 2 pm (see picture). Other take-out options are Maswik Food Court (0.8 miles away) or Canyon Village Deli (take the shuttle, closes at 5 pm). I highly recommend packing a cooler with food and bringing it with you to the Grand Canyon.More

For such history it was sad. There were two people working so they only had a few table open. The staff tried really hard, but not much they could do. Don't go expecting the Harvey service you always read about.

Quick lunch here - We grabbed pretzels and hot dogs here. Drink tax (on hot chocolate and 2 diet cokes was $9 - didn't experience this anywhere else we ate during our trip).

They might still be under staffed. Or are they? Lots of hostesses standing around to tell you that there will be a wait. How about one less hostess and one more server? Food was good. Had the turkey BLT on ciabatta. Would recommend that.

So at 3 o’clock we were going to eat, but there was quite a long line so we decided we heard the guy taking reservations. He would not take a reservation for 6 PM and told us it was first come first serve so we...went at 5:30 PM and it was a two hour wait you’ve got to be out of your mind you’ve got to be able to feed people and provide food and spending money to stay at a resortMore

Typical of Fountain Food. Decent, but long long lines. They apparently weren't prepared for the number of people. They ran out of several items by the time I reached the front at 2:01. Brat and pretzel were okay.

Food not prepared correctly, returned burned hotdog, old salsa, aged guacamole, stale chips and bread. Avoid the tavern.

We wanted to go here for a quick grab and go breakfast before doing Hermits Rest, hoping to get on an early shuttle. The soda fountain window was supposed to open at 7 AM. However, employees didn't even show up until about 7:08 and then...still had to do all their opening procedures. To me, if it says it opens at 7, employees should be there by 645 so they can actually open on time. Additionally their oven wasn't working, so they had no food for about 20 min. So all told, we got our breakfast burritos after 730. Having said that, the burritos were very good. Another thing to know is that they close this shop if it lightnings at all. I have no issue closing it for everyone's safety as the window is outside. However, they closed before 4 PM even though their hours are until 6. After no lightning for 30 min, it is considered safe to be back outdoors. This is from the NPS themselves. So I am not sure why they just called it quits for the day over two hours early. That was pretty frustrating and there is nowhere else around to get quick food or ice cream.More

Outdoor window to order then…sit were you can. Had hot dogs sandwiches, drinks and ice cream. The line was long and then getting a bench in the shade was hit or miss. Squirrels were everywhere and could get aggressive for food if given a little...bit.More

Only had the breakfast burritos which were very good and the coffee, which is very bad. Same stuff you get in your cabin/room.

We had breakfast burritos and coffee for bfast here. Everything is take out--not open yet for in-person dining. Burritos were filling and got us ready for our big hike!

While the food is pricy, the view makes it worth it. There were four of us and we tried - the Beef and Pork Chili - very good. Needed to be a little hotter serving temp. French Onion Bacon Burger - one of the best...burgers ever. Signature Beef Stroganoff - flavorful but a very small portion. Chicken Salad Sandwich - good. Navajo Taco - tasty. Service was great.More

No, but they have a good display of all between the entry desk and the restrooms as you walk down the hall and a room on the right, if I remember correctly. Check it out.
