very crowded as there was not many (actually no other) places to eat at North Rim. the food was reasonable. price not too ex. they are never short of customers, so deal with the less than great attitude.

Spent 2 night in the north rim with the family. Dinner food was average. The first night I had Cajun chicken fettuccine; the chicken was dry and the fettuccine looked like it had been sitting. Day 2 I had the prime rib sandwich with French fries and it was pretty good. My son had the stroganoff and it was pretty... More

There was a problem with the electricity the first night, so only cold foods on offer. Second night the kitchen was open and the food very good. The only problem with the food was the excessive garlic. There was a wonderful loaf of homemade bread, but if you don't like your bread stuffed chock-full of garlic, you won't like it.... More

Make your dinner res as soon as you can. Prime times disappear fast. The "side"salads are quite large....really good portion! Sea food special daily. Enjoyed the scallops and duck. It is nice.

Most important make reservations ! If you don't you will be eating at 4:30 or 8PM. Your a captured customer so the prices look like you will experience fine dining. We had two dinners and one breakfast at the lodge. My recommendation keep it simple. Your dealing with a chef who may be new to the kitchen. My bison flank... More

The Grand Canyon Lodge is a monument to Canyon history. It's rustic lodge ambience is charming. The views of the canyon from behind the glass, or on the patio is stunning. A highlight in our memory

Really elegant room, with tall ceilings. Great staff was very understanding of our time constraints. The buffet is okay, but if you have time, order off the menu. Our party split on that, and I was happier off the menu than what others received at the buffet.

loved it all...good service, good food, great view.the restaurant has glass walls allowing the a good canyon view.worthwhile booking and probably eating early as can be busy but not uncomfortably so.we had a two course meal and a bottle of wine for a cost of aboutone hundred U.S. dollars.

This is a beautiful dining room. With floor to ceiling windows on two sides, there is plenty to look at. We had lunch here with our two teenagers and everyone was satisfied. The hamburgers were a hit with hungry hikers. Dinner is quite pricey but lunch is reasonable.

We ate here with my brother and his wife which made ten in our group. Unfortunately, they largest table is for 7, so we split up. That was no problem for us as we were aware of it. The meal was very nice. They did have an interesting twist for splitting meals between two people: There was a charge ($4.25,... More
