If your focus is on the service or mixology, you might want a rethink. This is one of the sublime vistas on the planet and you are viewing it in comfort from the patio of a beautiful historic hotel. Count your blessings, especially if you aren't won of the lucky few who get to stay the night at El Tovar.... More

Great tasting food. Our eyes were bigger than our appetites. I was so excited to order baked beans and eat it like The Brady Bunch episode. Touch screen ordering. Some of the main courses come with salad, it qasnt obvious to us, but we were tired and starving. May want to order your dessert on a separate order...otherwise whip cream... More

This is a nice place to have a drink during the day or at night after dinner. Can sit on the expansive patio outside or inside in the comfy lounge area. Drinks are on the high side of pricing but it is a nice spot to watch the sunset once you get past the brightness of the sun shining in... More

Had a cold drink and delicious nacho platter appetizer for our first time at El Tovar Lounge. Historic hotel: check out the lobby and gift shops while there.

We were both looking forward to breakfast at El Tovar. It had been 35 years since the last time we enjoyed their roast beef hash with prime rib, poached eggs (perfectly cooked) and holindaise sauce. We were not dissappointed.

This is all about location with seating overlooking the canyon. The drinks are expensive but the beer was not. We had a light lunch which was perfect after a few hours of hiking.

We waited about 10 minutes and ended up getting a table in the restaurant. That was great. They need more staff for the lounge.

The El Tovar Lounge has an amazing view from their back deck. The viewing area behind this hotel is a tremendous spot to see some of the Canyon's South Rim. We hit the lounge for a later evening dinner with kids to see the sunset. Service was a little slow as some have noted. The food was much better than... More
