The Canyon Village Market Place in Market Plaza impressed us with their well stocked store and their competitive pricing. For a remote location with no competition around, one would expect a bit of rip-off. But we can confidently recommend you not to bother to carry your needs in terms of groceries or food & Drinks if you are staying in... More

Staff at the deli were super friendly over Thanksgiving. Stop here and grab breakfast or lunch. Small dine in area inside and out. The general store has a great selection also.

I was surprised by how big this place was. Has all the essentials and some! A place for camping stuff (not us) but noticed it, and gifts and souvenirs as well as grocery items.I did notice how great the food looked at the deli. We ate at the lodge the night before (not that great , see entry) and this... More

After visiting the Grand Canyon I stopped by the Market Place. They have just about anything you would need during your stay.

We ate at the market two times. One time we took the food and ate at a table outside the market, the other time, we ate in our room while our granddaughter napped. We had a deli club and it was great. It came with chips and had optional side dishes for purchase, like chili and cookies.

We were looking for a brief bite, so we stopped into the Market Deli. The menu offered so many options it was tough to choose, but we wanted to split a couple of things. We ordered the hot veggie sandwich and a bowl of chili, explaining to Eric, who took our order, that we were splitting it. When our order... More

I didn't feel like sitting at a restaurant and needed some supplies for the rest of my trip so I went to the general store. Nice selection of food items. Prices were reasonable. Checkout staff was friendly.

Food choices are kinda limited at the Grand Canyon. Was nice to eat somewhere without paying "park prices".

This store seems to cover the basis if you are camping, want to eat in your room, forgot camping stuff or toiletries, are looking for souvenirs, want alcohol, want tea or coffee, sandwiches for a picnic lunch, need backpacking equipment and the list goes on.

Preferred the food here to Yavapai Lodge, better quality and range especially for dietary requirements. Great staff and clean venue.
