Second trip to Denali, and Black Bear is my go-to coffee and sandwich spot! Panini was excellent and burrito was very good. Ample portion, reasonable price, prompt service, high quality food. Save room for a bakery item, homemade muffins, cookies, cinnamon bun. Seating indoors and on the patio is tight but fine.

In our 2 1/2 days in the area, we stopped here twice. First it was for a snack. I got a chai (I don't drink coffee) and my husband got the best oatmeal cookie he has had in awhile. The next day, my friends and I had breakfast here. I don't remember exactly what we ordered, but I believe it... More

All the baked goods seem t be made in-house. We all had different breakfast, I had excellent French toast, an enormous portion. All of us had an Alaskan-scale meal when I think of it.

Who knew the best cappuccino I've had in a long time would be in the middle of Alaska?! My husband and I stopped into Black Bear Coffee House for an afternoon pick-me-up a few weeks ago and we were blown away with the coffee. The service was friendly, our wait time was minimal (considering the line of people), and our... More

If you are travelling and longing for a proper coffee, this is the place to go. Good selection of food available for breakfast lunch and dinner. Also a selection of Gluten Free bagels and very yummy slices to choice from. Not a lot of seating, so could imagine it would get busy. Just across the road from the Princess Lodge,... More

We loved the breakfast here. The food is really good; especially the biscuits. We easily found a table two days in a row in August, but the seating area is small. They also have to go food in the cooler, so it's a good place to grab picnic food for the area.

Our group of 5 couples grabbed a quick lunch at Black Bear Coffee House. We had pulled up the menu off their web address and decided the options looked good. As the name implies, BBCH specializes in coffee drinks and if designs are any indication, the froth patterns on the prepared coffee drinks promised satisfaction. Our group ordered salads, soups,... Had breakfast and coffee, had the Denali Platter, with bacon, biscuit and sausage gravy which was interesting but tasted great, but coffee was great.

Stopped by for breakfast, as we were leaving Denali. Ordered an americano and the breakfast platter. My friend ordered the breakfast burrito. Order at the counter, then take a seat. The food comes out FAST. The biscuits with gravy was delicious. The breakfast burrito has a little spicy kick to it. I also like the music! Indie-rock playing in the... More

This place was GREAT! Frankly wasn't expecting too much, just wanted a decent cup of coffee, and it was way better than that! Great lunch too. Was so good, came back for coffee/breakfast the next day. Can't say much more than that!
