We chose not to do a sit down expensive breakfast on our last day at Denali. The good folk at the cabins referred us to the Black Bear Coffee House. It is in one of the strips opposite the entrance to the Park and can be easy to miss. At first look, I thought not to go in. But I... More

The food served here was great for breakfast/brunch and good for take-aways. If you are looking to pack sandwiches and bites for your hike in Denali, this a good place to get them. Favorites include the banana bread, chocolate muffin, cinnamon roll, mac and cheese and BBQ pulled pork sandwich. However, I noticed that myself and a few other customers,... More

Very good coffee and a few tables outside where you can relax and enjoy drinking your cup. We had amazing weather and sat in the sun for a break during our shopping in the various stores on each sides of Black Bear Coffee. There is ample parking in front of the shop.

This rustic restaurant was across the street from the Princess Lodge where we were staying. It was a fun and laid-back Alaska atmosphere. Their menu was fairly extensive, and the prices were a godsend. We had a late breakfast of the "Scratch Biscuit Sandwich" which is like an Alaskan version of the Egg McMuffin, and coffee and tea. They offer... More

My companion has celiac so we are always delighted when we encounter an enlightened establishment offering gluten free items. We had their berry bars and they were amazing!

I've visited Black Bear multiple times this summer and have been pleased with all visits. Nice coffee and ok tea selection, but my favorites are the baked goods - everything I've tried has been really fresh and tasty! Definitely worth the time and money to swing by to pick up some snacks for a trip into the park etc. Service... More

Laid back coffee shop with broad menu and lots of organic options. Small, only sits about 20. Only place open in Denali the morning.

Wonderful breakfast in a unique atmosphere. Staff was very friendly and food was delicious. We picked up a delicious breakfast sandwich before our ATV adventure and were not disappointed!

The berry oat bars work for breakfast...I had them two mornings. This place is very near to the park entrance. The egg sandwich on a homemade biscuit was another great option. The coffee was freshly brewed and I would recommend the latte.
