Amazing food, and bakery items. Also perfect for to-go items, such as boxed lunches. We ate there for breakfast and dinner several times, and it was always very good.

We stayed at McKinley Creekside Cabins for 3 nights while visiting Denali National Park. We ate all our meals here except for the lunch we packed for our Denali Bus Tour. Everything we had was delicious and homemade. Lots of different choices for everyone’s taste....Save room for dessert!More

We had two dinners here while visiting Denali National Park and were surprised at the unique food. It was great tasting and the combinations for flavors were tasty. We had Thai noodles, two different burgers, and halibut, all were prepared perfectly and in ample portions....Service was great.More

Wow!! On Labor Day,We traveled from Chena Hot Springs on our way to Anchorage. There were no restaurants right off the Highway that were opened. I checked trip advisors to find a restaurant right off the highway. McKinley Creek Side was open. I called and...they were so kind and professional. I made reservations. We walk into the Cafe, we were greeted by Kevin. He was so professional and so nice.He was prompt and told us the daily Chefs creation, Halibut and Prima pasta. We also ordered the summer salad. The presentation was professional and the food was excellent!! I would highly recommend this Cafe/Restaurant. We will return! Mile post 224More

I had higher hopes for this place, given other reviews. My dining partner and I both had fish, one was fried, one grilled, and portions were small. Not really imaginative cooking, not bad, but just basic. For the price I would have expected some sides...- slaw, salad, bread, something with a bit more pizzazz, even a garnish but no, nothing. Fish on top of fries, with a plastic dish of ketchup. Red wine was mediocre and served warmer than it should be. Service was also not amazing. There was a halibut special advertised, and I asked if I could make a substitution and the response was no, just get the grilled fish on top of fries. When you charge these kinds of prices, accommodating the diner's request should be standard. I get that they are winding up for the season, but it just didn't impress me at all. There are better options in Glitter Gulch. Since it was our anniversary, I had hoped to have a nice breakfast here also, but after the dinner disappointment, we didn't bother. Just a very lackluster meal with a lustrous price tag. Try the pizza place next door; it's not amazing but it's decent pizza and a reasonable price.More

My family and I stayed near Denali and were blessed to find this place with our first meal in the area. We loved it so much that we ate 4 meals there! The bakery, breakfast, lunch and dinner options are all phenomenal. My halibut with...red currant and purple potatoes with cauliflower was a perfect savory blend.More

After driving 300 miles across wild Alaska, I found myself staring at sophisticated halibut dinner with a red current sauce, cauliflower and purple potatoes. Everything was seasoned and prepared perfectly. It was simply wonderful. For dessert I had a mixed berry pie, also yummy. I...will be returning for tonight’s dinner, as well.More

Creekside Cafe was the perfect ending to our energetic days hiking in Denali NP. The food and wine were DELICIOUS and being able to just walk back to our cabin was an added bonus! Alaina was our waitress all three nights and our meals wouldn't...have been the same without her. Highly recommend!More

We stayed at the cabins and ended up eating here a few times for breakfast and dinner. Great dinner and the breakfast was a solid way to start the day.

We stayed at the Creekside Cabins for 3 days and essentially ate every meal here. After having the giant blueberry scones on our first morning we figured there was no reason to sample any other dining options in the area. All of our dinner entrees...were excellent, fresh food beautifully prepared. Try the fish tacos, chili, or Alaska Sampler - really good! The reindeer sausage was the best we'd ever eaten. We'll be back!More

I apologize for the late response, I just saw your question. I hope it still makes it in time! I believe you can check the opening hours on their website. We also had an early bus to Denali. If you book the day before... More
