The King Salmon restaurant always seemed busy given the number of travellers needing to be fed after. Big day's sightseeing. Be prepared to wait for a table but once seats it is a snug little nook with some good views and a very good menu for the remote location. The staff are friendly and generally efficient but they are always... More

This is a really nice restaurant with wonderful views of the mountains and river. We had a reservation for 6 and had a great table towards the back. We were excited to see Prime Rib on the menu so we order hoping it was a great at the Mt. McKinley Princess Lodge. It was good but not great. Our waiter... More

Though we stayed at Denali Park Village, we had dinner at this restaurant located at Denali Princess Wilderness Lodge and we had a very good experience. The ambiance was elegant yet the country touch of Alaska was also present. The view from the windows created a nice combination with inside. The service was very swift, polite and professional. The meals,... More

We arrived here just days after they opened for the season, but you wouldn't know it. we had a great experience, and the young staff -lots of college students for the season--were truly great. Alex was super, and made our two dinner events most pleasurable. The food was delicious with great flavors, and of course they had halibut and Alaska... More

We dined here as part of our stay at Denali Princess Wilderness lodge. We were advised it was better food than the adjacent venues, so decided to give it a try. It was very busy, and the service was slow. We all ordered the salmon chowder and wild salmon, which was such a disappointment. The soup was ok, but bearing... More

Nicest of several choices at the Princess campus. Nice selection that is well prepared. Wait staff is professional and attentive. Expensive but you are in rural Alaska!

Ate here multiple times during our visit. Found most dishes surprisingly good. Service was above average. A little pricey (tourist perspective) but comparable to other local prices.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the King Salmon. We enjoyed drinks in the bar area while we waited for a table near the window to be able to enjoy the beautiful view. My husband had the halibut and I had the crab dinner which was a combination of Alaskan King & snow crab. Both dinners were excellent. We were... More

Really enjoyed King Salmon. I had crab legs and husband had prime rib. Both were excellent. Decor attractive and gorgeous view out windows. Reserve table by the Windows if possible. Pricey but that's Alaska. Staff very very helpful and friendly and efficient. Highly recommend. Didn't give it 5th star since wine list was way beneath the caliber of its food.

The foo was plentiful but not the high caliber we expected from a Princess venue. The crab and artichoke dip was excellent. The King Crab legs lacked the usual flavor and were disappointing Service was fair.
