We recently travelled to Mt Tambourine for a relaxing weekend. We had dinner at the Old Church Restaurant. The atmosphere was quiet, a comfy lounge in front of a lit fireplace. The service was warm, friendly and accommodating. The meals were great, the steak so tender. There was no push to get you out the door. A very nice meal

Very small servings - not a lot of atmosphere. Food was quite tasty overall. Service was not great. A bread roll or similar would have been nice to start.

We are part of a Southern Cross Tours cruise ship shore excursions here to enjoy our morning Scones and Tea. The chief has visibly worked tirelessly to master light and fluffy scones or “rock cakes”, which are eaten with butter and jam usually with cups of tea or coffee as our sweet snack. It has several gardens that must be... More

We went on a Thursday night and it was quiet with only 2 other couples there. The food was creative and delicious, you can really tell that the chef if very particular about the quality of the ingredients used. There is also a small but good wine selection. The service was good and our waitress was engaging and fun but... More

We had entree of scallops and pork belly for me and a stuffed green chile for my partner. Beautifully presented and tasted divine. For mains I had duck and my partner had pork belly . The food was perfectly cooked and presented.... More

Beautiful old church building converted into an intimate dining room. We started our evening with a glass of fire on the lounges in front of a roaring fire. We were then seated and the wait staff were extremely professional and polished in their service. The menu is fantastic and the food divine. This is such a special place. Highly recommend.

It was my ignorance for not investigating this place before we came but when you eat at a place called "The Old Church", I expected that we would be eating in an old church. This was not the case. The Entrees were luke warm at best, Mains were ok but lacked flavour. I had the Pork Belly which tasted ok... More
