Cannot compliment the food, atmosphere and people at Sir Roger Tichborne. George and his staff serve delicious food (Fish & Chips and Scampy are my fave) and provide excellent customer service... extremely caring and personable. Can't wait to visit Loxwood and The Tich again!

Attractive pub inside and out with plenty of parking and spacious yet cosy interior with log fires. Excellent range of real ales, try the Dunsfold bitter. Have previously twice eaten in the restaurant but this time just beer and snacks with colleagues after a day...More

Went to the Sir Roger Tichborne for Sunday lunch today. I chose Lamb at £18 and all I got was 2 VERY small slices of tasteless Lamb with watery vegetables. I expect more for £18. I will not be going back for Sunday lunch. Service...More

We are so sorry that you've had a bad experience with us. We do value return custom above all else and if you could reply to me to the personal message I've sent so I can find out what happened exactly.

Last minute decision but definitely a good one. Good choice of food and drink and lovely atmosphere. Was quite full in the restaurant and the only reason for four stars is the noise level - that's the trouble with hard floors I'm afraid. Service was...More

Coming up to Christmas all decent pubs are busy! The pub that day had another large party ourselves numbering 27 and a lot of people just having lunch. We all chose our meals beforehand as obviously catering for that number was a logistical feat. All...More

Birthday lunch for 9 adults; very good starters, mains [Sunday Roast] and desserts plus coffee - excellent service from our waitress Kim. This is the fourth time we have visited in four months, very relaxed family-oriented atmosphere. A couple of problems were resolved fully at...More

Kim, Tru and Freya all went out of their way to make our visit and meal exceptional. We dropped in on the off chance of a roast Sunday lunch but although fully booked and after initially being turned away, the proprietor phoned a couple of...More

We are not listed on this website by choice. If we had a choice we would remove it. It does not offer an accurate overview of our business because we serve in excess of 500 meals a week and the main feedback we get verbally is that our establishment with it's glorious views, great staff, beer, wine and food makes them come back time and time again. Why not pop in and try us out personally and ignore what can only be described as inaccurate or biased opinions of a small percentage of our customers and often people that are not customers at all.
