Been meaning to review here after a few visits for lunch & drinks. It's the most stunning location in real countryside with narrow country lanes however you won't get any scruffy farmers or the smell of wet dog here. They've taken the best location & building but offer a high class of service, food & style. Always excellent food &... More

We haven't been here for a while. The restaurant looked sumptuous and glamourous. All 3 courses were superb with lots of flavours that fitted together perfectly. I had the asparagus followed by half a lobster that was utterly gorgeous. I cannot fault the food here. Service was impeccable with very friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend it and looking... More

Dear Jackie, We are shocked at your very rude and unjust comments. If you take a moment to read some other comments on Trip Adviser you will notice that your comments are not shared by others. Your comments clearly show you should not leave reviews on sites as they have no substance or foundation. More

The Pub is in a nice location with seating outside in attractive garden area, and gets the sun. Its nicely presented, has good choice of food and drink, and the restaurant is recommended. We had a nice meal with good helpful service, as I am a coeliac. Decor is interesting, TV on in one bar for sport, other bar with... More

Having read a few reviews, I arrived with a little trepidation, only to have the staff blow me away with their cheerful, efficient service. We stayed in the Perrier Jouet room and were not disappointed, it was lovely and very clean and the champagne in the room was yummy, as were the oysters delivered by room service a little after... After living near the oyster beds in Brittany, can honestly say that there oysters were just as good. In fact we ordered more! The rest of the meal was just as good, loved it all. The decor wasn't to my taste very dark, but the food certainly made up for it

Great wine, as advised by the Gent who I assume is the owner. The Sunday roast was very good, probably the best I have had in a long time, I usually avoid them because they tend to be poor. Great Vegetable mix, so we didn't waste anything. The chicken was very succulent and the waitress was very attentive. It was... More

Driving the scenic route through mid Kent saw a sign for Oyster and champagne bar. As this is in the middle of nowhere and being a shellfish fan I turned around and decided to have a lunch there on a Friday at about 13.30. I was the only person there at that time. Pleasant and helpful lady behind the bar,... More
