TAKANO FRUITS PARLOR SHINJUKU HEAD OFFICE This is a fruit speciality store where you can enjoy seasonal fruits at a platter or at a parfait. The fruit bar with all-can-eat menus such as pizza and fruit sandwiches is very famous in Shinjuku.🙂🍓🍍🍈 フルーツ大好き女子👩で店内はいっぱいなので、男子👨一人での潜入はいい意味、勇気のいるお店です(笑) 子供の頃からの夢💞が叶う、フルーツ満載の夢の国ですねぇ…🍑🍊🍎🍒

Great selection of parfait with seasonal fruit. So delicious. There may be a line but it moves. Fun place to go for one or more parfaits. You may spot people in cosplay or Gothic Lolita or other attire. Note: If you are male, you cannot...go unaccompanied by a female (friend, girlfriend, sister, mom, aunt, etc...). Females are welcome alone or in groups. I believe this policy is to weed out perverts going there just to prey on women and girls because the majority of customers are female. This was a lucky find for me a little pricey but well worth it.Everything in the palor is delicious the fruits, ice cream, waffles and sandwiches. The presentation is a show stopper and everyone snaps a pic before devouring the masterpiece. We saw a lot...of locals going there as well as tourist which tells you a lot. Would highly recommend visiting if you are in the Shinjuku area. I went everday while I was in Japan can’t find this kind of quality in Hawaii.More

A fascinating and pretentious destination where you will experience the best desserts and fresh melons on earth. Expensive but fabulous. The melon is just unbelievable ( about $70)... treat this as a must do. The line up here is heavy which is an indication of...its popularity in TokyoMore

The fruit dishes were amazing. We each had the grape, strawberry and melon which were all delicius and large servings. The orange juice is sooo tasty. Highly recommended visit.

Cream used is delicious as are of course the fruits. The parfaits are double or more in price of regular parfaits but if you have a sweet tooth, this is worth the calories! Generally recommend the seasonal specials. But note that it gets crowded on...weekends, so go early or late evening.More

There is an option for either the buffet or the cafe. The cafe had seating immediately available while the buffet had a wait of over an hour, so we went for the cafe. This is my idea of precise, beautiful and perfect Japanese desserts. The...availability varies wildly by season, but there is always sure to be something for everyone. Try the strawberry parfait--a classic!More

One of Tokyo's sweetest temptation dessert shops is the Shinjuku Takano Fruit Parlor located near the Narita Express Train Entrance in Shinjuku. Serving some of the most decadent dessert creations since 1885. This shop is a must visit when in Tokyo to keep your sweet...tooth happy. I tried the strawberry cream puff and strawberry parfait both were to die for! Expect to spend around Yen1,000 for 2 or 3 choices.More
