This place is a hidden spot. It has a medium side menu with classic ramen noodle soup. The traditional ingredients of this Japanese national dish are present in every single choice.

Super Golden Ramen bowl is niboshi ramen (fish broth) well worth seeking out and trying. Two kinds of char siu and two kinds of noodles just part of the huge bowl. Go with smaller option if you’re not hungry. Authentic ramen counter experience.

You would not believe the quality of taste from this ramen outlet. Choose from the machine and get stuck into this fast food joint that seats 10 at a time hence the big queue up the side alley. Friendly English speaking staff. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Queue in the alley, book by machine, eat in a tiny place. Quite an experience; I ate in the seat occupied by Wayne Gretzky who signed his name in 1999! but the Ramen bowls were full, hot, tasty with interesting contents; so go there!

U have to line up, likely to have the ramen. The shop is in an old area of shinjuku. They will ask the portion of ramen you like. Soup is very thick. However it is a bit salty. I like the Noodles but I have...order a too big portion. An interesting place.More

Very interesting ramen experience. Totally different from the Ramen Nagi in the US. Over in Japan, Ramen Nagi is known for their fish broth. The ramen had a strong fried anchovy scent and taste. The noodles were thick and delicious. I would recommend it to...give it a try, but if you don’t like anything too fishy, you might want to skip it.More

The photos on this are not accurate, it is a small 12 seat restaurant upstairs in the Golden Gai area, you line up beside building in a small alley... this was fun to me, added to the experience. I was under the impression is was...a Pork broth (that’s what their sign says), but it was an intensely fishy broth.... not my taste, but clearly it was high quality so I pushed through the broth.... but the noodles were perfection, the perfect resistance to the bite, and the pork slices were simply amazing. The staff were all friendly and helpful.More

It's rude and narrow, sometimes there's a long queue but you definitely have to go. A superior Ramen with a tremendous balance between pork slices and the fishy broth. So go, eat and such it till the last drop. P.S.: don't trust pictures in this...page as the are no light on the outside. It's simply a poor door on the street.More

It's a really small place with just a handful of seats but fortunately I went during off peak hours so managed to get a seat immediately. The ramen was super good and the anchovy & pork broth was thick, full of flavour and absolutely delicious......definitely the best ramen I've ever had and the price was very reasonable too... highly recommended!More

I would say they are better than their more famous competitor as they have more options on the menu. The anchovy soup based is nice. When we arrived at this shop in the morning they were doing some filming, we were directed to their other...branch 2 mins away and was give a card of a free topping. Well done for their service recovery efforts. I would recommend to order the pork brisket if you have tummy space.More
