Location and contact

Ise Sueyoshi is a private Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. Placed between Roppongi and Hiroo. We serving traditional "Kaiseki"style Japanese cuisine with English guide. The owner trained in "Kikunoi" restaurant. After trained, spend a year in Tronto,Canada and trained around the world. Returning to Japan with a desire to 'disseminate Japanese cuisine as a part of this country's culture', he headed back to his native Mie to form connections with farmers and other producers. Blessed with the ample fruits of both the mountains and the sea, the prefecture has long been known as a treasure trove of foodstuffs. He finally opened his own place in 2015, focusing on ingredients from the ancient city of Ise.

A fantastic evening in a small intimate restaurant with lovely chefs and a fantastic English speaking host. Just loved how different the experience was and that we could ask questions about the food. Sake was lovely. Sashimi was fab. Definetly recommend to people like us...More

As others have said, this is a wonderful experience, combining great food, service and attention to detail. After this experience, the chef/server even walked me out to the street to help me get my ride; amazing.

So much fun. Really small place. The owners explained the dishes. I had high expectations and they exceeded them. Book early if your're visiting Tokyo. Sashimi, gazpacho, dumplings were excellent!

This was my colleague's first visit to Japan and it was our last night of a very brief stay in Tokyo - the reviews on here are accurate and Tanaka-san's ambition of introducing Japanese Kaiseki cuisine to the outside world was met with resounding success....More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art

We took a restaurant trained 14yo. They asked that we not bring a primary school aged child though. The meal takes a while and is quite formal.
