Small and intimate counter seating means very interactive with chefs. Very good quality food (mainly from Mie prefecture where sea and land produce is abundant) and carefully presented. As with all kaiseki meals, some courses stand out as brilliant and will linger a long time,...More

Every dish came with a story from the chef and was sourced from his home region. It all tasted amazing including the matching sake.

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were
famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants,
bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of
Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the
area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot
to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art
Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art

I think it wouldn't be a problem if you book just the food but on the night want the sake pairing as well. They're very accommodating to any requests.

Ise Sueyoshi is a private Japanese restaurant in Tokyo. Placed between Roppongi and Hiroo. We serving traditional "Kaiseki"style Japanese cuisine with English guide. The owner trained in "Kikunoi" restaurant. After trained, spend a year in Tronto,Canada and trained around the world. Returning to Japan with a desire to 'disseminate Japanese cuisine as a part of this country's culture', he headed back to his native Mie to form connections with farmers and other producers. Blessed with the ample fruits of both the mountains and the sea, the prefecture has long been known as a treasure trove of foodstuffs. He finally opened his own place in 2015, focusing on ingredients from the ancient city of Ise. Kappo Ise Sueyoshi in the heart of Tokyo is ideal for enjoying the four seasons of Japan.
