All reviews curry naan saag butter chicken salad great indian food best indian home style home away from home best wishes finger licking home kitchen big heart regular menu small place home made metro station
Small on floor space but huge in flavor, quality and hospitality here at this location. We tried a varied assortment of dishes and weren’t disappointed with anything. Wish we had something as good as this at home!
The food at this small little kitchen can not compared with other Indian restaurants. Once we got connected I never had to order from the regular menu. From Deshi chicken curry ( homestyle ) to Chola bhatura, Aloo paratha to Chapati or loads and loads...of vegetarian dishes outside the menu was served to me and my colleagues almost every night. I ate here almost 5 nights a week for one year. As an Indian living in Roppongi for I never felt I was away from home. From Food to finding friends, some chai time to late night dinners, Downtown Bs has been my place. Their food, the friendliness of staffs, the vibe and connecting with so many fellow country men will always remain in my heart. As my time has come to return back home I will miss the place and people who make Downtown Bs such a lovely place. It’s been a fantastic experience for me and I heartily thank them for looking after us, for fulfilling our demands and serving the us the best homestyle prepared Indian food and most of all for always being there during the difficult times of 2020. I wish them the best and look forward to being served again when I am here next in Japan. Dhanyabad and a big big thank you to Bonnie san and his team.More
I am in Tokyo for a short visit. I am vegetarian by birth and was looking for some good Indian restaurant nearby and luckily I got to know about Downtown B's from one of my colleagues.
I googled it was amazed to see such good...ratings. Hence, I visited the place and had palak paneer & chana combo. It was so good and similar to the food served in India that I have become a regular visitor of this place.
They have very welcoming staff and a safe place to visit during this Corona time. Staff wear masks and do proper sanitization. Hence, highly recommended place to hang out and enjoy the food.
I have been here in Tokyo for last 9 months and Downtown Bs has been my daily home kitchen. My experience has been very heartwarming and I am sad as I am leaving Tokyo soon, I going to miss my dear friends and the food...from this humble small Indian kitchen. They treated me and my colleagues like family as we almost eat here for 5 nights a week. The food they make or customize is no less than what we eat at home. The food is always fresh and light. Besides the regular menu B and his team will do their out most best to serve you as you would like it. From chapati, veg pulao to Chole Bhatura I could get whatever I wanted to eat. The vibrancy and the friendliness of the staffs also makes you feel very good. For a vegetarian like me it would have been very difficult during the state of emergency period in Tokyo if I wasn’t living close by. My heartfelt gratitude to all the staffs for taking care of me and fulfilling my demands at all times. Thank you so much and my best wishes to Bs for a great future ahead.

I live in Tokyo for many years and I constantly look for good Indian restaurants in and around the city. Downtown B’s Kitchen is one restaurant which I keep coming back to every time. If you want to taste real authentic Indian food in Tokyo,...no better place than this. The owner and the staff are really friendly and help you out even if you do not know about the dishes in the menu. A real gem of a restaurant in Tokyo. Highly recommend it.More
DownTown B's is the place to go for authentic Indian food in Tokyo. A regular in all my visits to Japan, the place feels like home. Excellent service and finger licking food makes you come back for more. Personalized customizations available apart from the menu....A gem of a place for Indians (especially vegetarians).
Hats off to Mr.Bonnie and team for keeping up in these tough times and delivering quality food. Worth every penny......More
DownTown's B is by far the best Indian restaurant in Tokyo. A regular for more than 4-5 months now, I've never seen the quality deviate. They pay special attention to my personal likes and preferences. Being a vegetarian, food was my biggest concern when offered...a job in Tokyo. Thanks to Mr Bonnie and his wonderful team, I enjoy fresh healthy vegetarian Indian food daily.
Service is excellent. Hygiene is well-maintained. Taste finger-licking...More
Most regular place for my home food. I eat here almost 5-6 times a week and I get what I eat back home. Food is always cooked fresh, lots of choices for vegetarians, staffs are very kind and friendly and very good value for money....The place is small but is loved by many.More
The food in absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I am a vegetarian and this place offers a wide variety of veg options including customizations. The food is fresh, properly prepared and a great value for the price. We highly recommend it.

Tucked away on a street corner in roppongi, I had experienced Indian cooking before in Japan, but was still totally blown away by the quality. Inside was cramped, but the smell was sumptuous, and the staff were friendly and active.
The owner is super friendly,...and a 'namaste' got us chatting within an instant! The beers on offer are a nice change of place from the usual Sapporo draft that is found ubiquitously throughout Tokyo, and the actual food itself is second to none. Not to mention, they do takeaways, like all good Indians should! Absolutely 100% would come here again.More

Akasaka / Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.
