I absolutely love Elio's, the food, the presentation, the decor and ambience, and of course Elio himself. Some Italian friends recommended it, and it was my second time there and I can just tell it get better everytime I go there. I could become a...More

We visited here as we were ready for a change from Japanese food and what a treat it was. All of the food we sampled was delicious! We spent a while talking to the owner, what a guy and what a story. No wonder the...More

This is a popular Italian eatery near the Imperial Palace. It gets quite busy during the noon hour, with a mix of Japanese patrons and foreigners, some of whom work for the British Embassy nearby. I had an excellent pasta dish here. A pleasant choice...More

I guess people have to understand that restaurants are not just about tastes. This place is like Elio's home and we pay him a visit to be hosted and have a wonderful time. Nothing super about the food, but everything is warmly made, and I...More

There is a lot to like at Elio : the food is nicely prepared, service is pleasant...but the noise is deafening. I had a headache all afternoon. They should really invest in some sound proofing.

Having eaten Asian for much of the last week, I wanted to change course. The TripAdvisor reviews of this place and proximity to my hotel caught my eye. I wasn't disappointed. The waiter, Italian, was friendly and enthusiastic. I went with a spinach ravioli and...More

Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around
the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in
Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a
photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old
Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this
day, and there are long-standing restaurants with
geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
