Great little place - head upstairs, table service for wide selection of beers and very tasty and reasonably priced bar snacks

Real ales and craft beers in the heart of Osaka, many of them from Japan. Great bar staff, very nice snacks with a lot of locals. Hope I come back.

Well-located establishment in Osaka for craft beer and some tasty snacks. The mini-pizza was delicious, but also small. I wish this place actually made normal-sized pizzas! It was that good. The sitting is tight on the main level, but there are also a few tables...on the second level. Compared to like-minded eating/drinking establishments, it's a bit more expensive -- but if you appreciate a local stout or IPA this would be a good choice.More

I had to find this pub as it serves amazing real ales and craft beers in the heart of Osaka... Boy was I pleased I made the effort! Great bar staff who I chatted to along with a few regulars... I wish I could have...stayed the duration!!! Amazing beer selection with quality nibbles... Heaven.More

Yellow Ape Craft was a superb start to our evening. Find yourself a spot at the bar and chat up the staff and patrons. Yellow Ape is a very welcoming place, and the beer selection is impressive. Try the small glasses so you can sample...more of the excellent Japanese craft brews!More

Of course now that I am only in Osaka once a year or so, craft beer starts to take off... Very friendly, both staff and customers, a nice mix of westerners and Japanese (and a surprising number of women, who maybe have learned to incline...towards quality instead of quantity). Limited seating (like most Craft Beer Bars in Japan) but good cozy atmosphere. Also like most Craft Beer Bars in Japan (and I guess big ones as well, but with fewer options, the bigger ones don't run out of beer), they use small kegs, and it pays not to get attached to any particular beer as kegs blow frequently)More
