A lovely sushi restaurant, prepared all fresh in front of you and the taste didn’t disappoint The chefs were very friendly and explained the dishes to us as they were making them Wasn’t the cheapest in town but you know where that extra money went...on your totally experience there We visited mid week around six and easily found a table tried to go back again on a sat night and it was packed and couldn’t get a table so watch out for those peak times if you want to guarantee eatingMore

A small, wonderfully authentic, sushi restaurant next door to the St. Regis Hotel. Friendly staff and great fish characterize this small shop. Prices are quite fair for the quality of fish. We understand they are moving at the end of February 2020 so double check...the address.More

I am honored to say that. There are many staff who can not speak much English, but the shop can be operated thanks to customers. We appreciate. The relocation destination is here. I hope you come to eat after the relocation. 2-6-4 Fushimicho, Chuo-ku, Osaka-shi

I love Sushi and stumbled upon this little place. Its small so I had to Que for a while which is always a good sign. 3 older passionate Japanese chefs entertained me with their swift hand rolled sushi. They more known here for Tuna so...try the different styles. The place was packed with locals and a few tourists, always a good sign to see the locals there. Loved it !! Go !!More

Thank you very much for coming this time. Although it is a small shop, it has a counter, and the space is designed so that you can enjoy the leisurely viewing. We look forward to your next visit.

Great experience where you get an authentic setting with the possibility to dine in your own stall. As with many restaurants I dont think its ideal with small kids but we have learnt that if you are willing to eat around 5 pm and leave...before the crowds rush in many of the better places is still possible to visit with kids that might not always will be quiet. And this a really, really good sushi restaurant in my opinion.More

Absolutely lives up to the hype. Staff are friendly and their is an English menu available. It feels very authentic. We ordered al a carte- suggest the fatty tuna sashimi and prawn nigiri - highlights! If we are back in Osaka, I would 100% return.

Found this place on Google with over 4 stars review and decided to pay a visit with family. A very warm smiling welcome from the owners as we were ushered to the second floor. We waited to sit at the bar, but someone beat us...to it. Sushi was excellent, and so was the tempura. Lovely place!More

My boyfriend and I chanced upon this restaurant online with good reviews and decided to give it a try. It was the best decision ever! The chefs were extremely friendly and passionate and we felt so much warmth in the short hour we were there!...Also, we met the most friendly Mr Lin Mu, who were good friends with the chefs. All of them made our experience the most memorable on top of the freshest Sushi! Mr Lin Mu, we would love to keep in contact with you. Do drop me an email at blue_calura@hotmail.com if you happen to see this review. Thank you all for the hospitality! ☺️ Best regards, Edmund and EmilyMore

Stumbled upon this restaurant while walking around and went in based upon the reviews. Thankfully we did because we received one of the best sushi meals we’ve ever had. An English menu is available and the staff were very accommodating. Fatty tuna sashimi that was...melt in the mouth, ordered twice. Veggie tempura was crispy and delicious. Unagi was amazing as well. Worth a visit for sure!More

I visited Sushi Hayata due to the good reviews on TripAdvisor and indeed this place was absolutely awesome! The lady at the entrance was so nice and gave an instant good feeling. I had a fabulous night with fantastic sashimi and sushi and fun interaction...with the sushi chefs as well as the people sitting around the counter. As I'm a solo traveller it is always a great experience if the people interact and at sushi Hayata I felt instantly welcome. Cosy atmosphere, great food and nice people - what else are you looking for?More

No reservation required, but they probably accept them. Make sure to check open hours for your date though - they are mostly a weekday kind of place.

I think it's closed on Saturday and Sunday, unfortunately. When open, last order is at 22 or 22:30, as they close at 23:00.
