We had such a great time at this bar meeting new people. Cheap, solid drinks, a fun retro game system, and a great setting.

My bf and I visited last night, after finding the bar on google. When we arrived at 7.30, the bar was empty, but it filled up after a couple of hours (it doesn’t take much, as it’s pretty small!). Really cool decor, music and vibe....Nice selection of beers. Loved chatting to the barman, Mark and his friend Yuki. Chatted to a few people in there too, who were all really friendly.More

This place is small (can probably fit 15 people max) but we were able to get a seat pretty easily. Unlike some small bars, it was possible to have a private conversation without feeling like the rest of the bar was listening. The atmosphere is...very relaxed and the staff are very friendly. There are various games (jenga etc) on the bar which you can play.More

Had a couple of great nights at Cherry Bomb, a tiny rock bar. The beer is cold and cheap (500 yen for a draft beer), the staff friendly and the music good (if you like rock). You can play games like Jenga or cards against...humanity, the bartender regularly joins in. It can be packed at times though as it is not very large. Highly recommended for a night out. Just look for the sign on the street, the bar itself is located on the 5th floor.More

We ventured out for a drink and some food and stumbled across Rock Bar Cherry Bomb. The place was full of friendly people and the barman served us super cold beer. It happened to be Taco Tuesday so we ate dinner there too. It’s up...a few flights of stairs but there is a little sign on street level. Great atmosphere and ace music. Recommended!More

Of all the rock bars I visited in Osaka Cherry Bomb is my favourite, friendly staff and punters. Playing jenga with the bartender was fun. Definitely recommend.

We were in Osaka for four nights and missing our rock bars from back home in Scotland, and a quick Google search threw up this place. We are SO glad it did! It's got a very narrow doorway with a sign for the bar outside,...and you take a lift up to the floor it's on - just a note as it's easy to miss. It's a really small bar which just added to how much we loved it. Plenty booze of all types on offer and so much to look at - we could barely peel our eyes from the guitars on the walls. We expected to stay for a couple of pints but ended up being a fair few more than than (leading to our only Japan hangover, by choice) as we just had so much fun. David was on the bar and we had a great time chatting away to him about America, Scotland, and most importantly Japan. There was a great range of people in as well. I think we spoke to people from China, LA, England, and ended up playing pop up pirate with two Israeli guys as well - brilliant fun! Great to find a place so small that you end up speaking to anybody and everybody if you want to. Highly recommend it for some fun and good drinks. And DEFINTELY ring the cowbell...More

A rock-n'-roll/heavy metal bar, which I ended up at the end of my night, just before wandering out and talking to a drunk hostess at a street food stand.

Great bar, the Barmen (who is the owners ) is an american, also a great guy, it was nice to hear his story and advices of what to do and where, explain the Japanese culture and more

As a lot of reviews here have mentioned, Taco Tuesday is a must. The friendly atmosphere, nostalgic music, and craft beer selection are awesome but those tacos elevate the Cherry Bomb experience to a higher level.
