Another really enjoyable visit...the whole experience is well worth it. This time we sat at the bar, ordered 'just' Macha...but that includes a 'starter' of Kaki and grapes and a glass of cold sencha...we chose the tea blend...and the wagashi from a seasonal selection (chestnut...flavours, yuzu and apple ..)...we also ordered chocolates. Amazing! It was a different experience sitting at the bar - another client ordered the roasted tea (hojicha), and the tea specialist let us all smell the aroma...almost perfume like!More
We whiled away a few hours here, enjoying the tea and sweets.. And a glass of wine. You can taste the tea at various stages of roasting, with the owner showing us the tea and explaining..really enjoyable experience
