The little terrace is a great place for a spot of lunch whilst being away form the hustle and bustle of the centre of town. Traditional fare, but done well and a good wine list to match.

First - get there at 1145 or you may not get table! its italian but not typical pasta and sauce. It is quite tasty. We had the pasta -- Butter and Sage was so tasty with melted cheese in it. The Barolo wine by glass is priceless

We went there on a Saturday night, before 8 and it was a good idea to go early because all the tables were booked it was the last one. Staff is friendly although limited English. We had the mix of antipasti that was absolutely delicious! The main was amazing too. I really recommend this restaurant as the quality is really... More

My actual rating would have been a 4 and a half, if it were possible. Our meal and service were excellent with one exception (to be mentioned later). To begin, the restaurant has a lovely outdoor seating area. The value of their offerings as compared to portion size and quality was also excellent. Service was professional, courteous and genuine throughout... More

Don't get me wrong. Our meal at La Cantinella was fine. We liked the ambiance of the restaurant. We had good service. But it was a mixed experience for me. We started with a bowl of pasta with sage and nuts. It was delicious. The pasta was very tender and tasty. For entrees, my wife got chicken, and I got... More

Have eaten there with my family 8 times in the last three years. Family owned and operated. The food is excellent and the service is great, ask for Isabella. Try the Bra sausage and the Barolo risotto.

If you follow my reviews I'm quite Harsh and like to rate restaurants relative to price. It's a very rare occurance to give a full score unless the meal and experience were simply flawless relative to the price paid . For example if I went to a basic but delicious burger joint where ingredients were perfect and the experience the... More

Of course this is the "home" of Barolo, but not only! The food is typical "LANGHE" tasty , good. The service perfect and the owner is really friendly giving you tips to visit the surroundings. Do not forget to drink a "Dolcetto Dogliani" a really very very very good red wine!

We had pasta ragu, and it was amazing. Homemade pasta. One had chicken - really delicious. Also had Tiramisu - goooood!:-) Great Barolo wine selection, also on glass. Service was great - and the restaurant really nice outside.

We stopped by on spec and had a really excellent lunch. The food was of a very high standard and of course the wine, Barolo, was wonderful. Highly recommended.
