Warm and cosy with friendly staff and the normal lunch and brunch foods found in cafes around the country . They have comfy seating options and are happy to cater to variations on the menu etc.

Went here this morning on a Thursday) with my son and daughter-in-law. Place was busy which is a good sign. I am particular about my coffee, if it is luke warm or not strong enough I won't come back. Coffee I had was one of the best ever. We tried their gluten-free lemon cheese cake and plum cake, both were... More

We went on a Monday morning. The place is clean and the staff service is just amazing. My partner had the most delicious iced mocha he ever had in wellington area. The burger is humongous and yummy. I had pancakes which are ok as well. Would definitely come back here.

We seek out Cafe Figg whenever we're in Petone. The vegetarian sandwich/rolls are yummy, the staff go above and beyond to be helpful, the atmosphere warm. A cafe that is enjoyed by many locals also.

My eyes were bigger than my stomach. I had a piece of carrot cake and a bowl of naked wedges (no chilli and cheese). My goodness, I wanted a doggy bag for the chips but I looked on it as a challenge to finish everything, and I did. The cafe was full with people coming and going all the time.

Blackboard menu, awesome cakes in the counter display and great characters behind the counter. Had a great salad, but it is the staff that make this place. Will be back for cake at some stage.

Fig is located next to Beannie's in Petone. Beanie's is usually very good food but the last time we visited was a little hit an miss so we decided to try Fig. Good food, good coffee, good service. Highly recommend their homemade potato cakes, they are to die for! Probably a con is they do not have much in the... More

Thoroughly enjoyed lunch at Cafe Figg. While the cabinet food looked really tempting, we ordered pancakes, french toast, and the hash brown stack off the menu and they were all really tasty. The cake out the cabinet came with a large dollop of fresh whipped cream, and the tea was a generous size. Service was extremely friendly.

Ate here for lunch. The service was friendly and fast. Didn't have to wait long for food or drinks. The food was plentiful and very good. Would recommend the berry and banana french toast and the pumpkin and coconut soup.

I recommend this place to everyone. normally i'll stick to the same dish but at figg everything is good. Allday breakfast menu that will fill your belly and keep your wallet happy too. Their staff are friendly and can make a decent cup of coffee. Specials menu is cheap which by no means reflects the quality of food. 8/8 mates.
