Important: The place's name has changed to 'Da Giuseppe al granatello'. Only a few steps away from the underpass of the trainline. It is a tiny restaurants with only 6 tables, no menu card, the interior a bit lackluster but "the catch of the day" dish is solid. Probably the best restaurant near Herculaneum and the harbor with a lot... More

This is the sort of restaurant we dream of finding. Away from the mainstream, catering to locals not tourists, and serving only the freshest local fish, vegetables and wine. Only six tables, oh and no menu - we ate what the wonderful Giuseppe gave us..... We walked from Herculaneum so we were ravenous when we arrived.... By the time we... More

The name of this tiny restaurant has changed (can't remember the new name). Peppe advise you on what to eat and there are plenty of good things, typical local food. Excellent fich. He is very friendly and this is an nice unconventional restaurant.

My friend and I were staying at Fabric Hostel and we were looking for dinner on TripAdviser one of the nights we were there and stumbled across this place. Peppe and Ferdi are both two of the kindest most generous people we encountered on our 3 week trip. Their friendship is worth the visit by itself. Let alone the amazing... More

My girlfriend and I had one afternoon/night to stay in Portici and found this restaurant on tripadvisor. The restaurant is very cozy and homely. The owner, staff and other guests were incredibly friendly and kind. The food was delicious. Fresh seafood that's brought in daily. They bring you 3-5 appetizers (there is no menu), main dishes (you can choose between... More

My two canadian friends and I are backpacking and staying at the Fabric hostel in portici. Looking for a restaurant, this was the highest ranked on trip advisor. All the reviews were in Italian but the ratings were great so we took a chance. I'm so glad we did! We wound around the port streets and the amazing owner, Pepe... More
