One of favourite places to go, meet others and enjoy a break between stops. We enjoy the sun outdoors!

Coffee is what a coffee shop is all about, this Drumroaster doesn't disappoint. I requested a Cortado, and although it wasn't on the coffee menu it was made up without question and was nice and strong. There's a nice outdoor patio area which is obviously a local meeting place.

Good service, good coffee and food, lots of seating and although rural, there was a lineup to get coffee and food. Located just off the TransCanada highway near the Cobble Hill and Cowichan Bay intersection in a strip mall.

They have good coffee including espresso and cappuccino type things. Many other local coffee shops use Drumroaster ground coffee and this is the place. They also serve various bisquits and other yummies. My only criticism is it can be pretty busy and noisey. From a business point of view this is a nice problem to have. From a customers point... We recently moved to Mill Bay and have tried almost every coffee place between Mill Bay and Duncan (not much in Duncan either) and Drumroaster is our go-to coffee and treat place. They also do fabulous soup and sandwiches but you have to try the Chunky Monkey muffin and the carrot coconut. My husband loves the cinnamon brioche and my... More

A lot of people have jumped onto the coffee wagon- but they do it right. The baking is very good, the coffee is better than Starbucks, and the ambience is just fine. Definitely the place to go if you are in the area, and want your daily caffeine! :)

It's a popular meeting place. You can read the paper and enjoy it solo. Good eats and super lattes. It's not a place to have a hot meal but there are lunch items available.

I went in yesterday, and decided to try the ginger cookie, but wanted to know the ingredients/ ie.fresh ginger, organic? etc. The girl behind the counter had no idea, and referred me to the baker who was very abrupt, and basically, after a few of my questions, sighed, and walked away! Needless to say, I left without my cookie! That was... More
