We loved our lunch at the Bistro at Cherry Point Vineyard. Well worth the bike ride from the Mill Bay Ferry. The menu is surprisingly varied and all of the food our group had was tasty, beautifully prepared and presented.

we stopped in here while trying different vineyards in the area, a very nice bistro area that had a large lunch menu, not your regular burgers and sandwiches, so maybe not the best bet for the kids but for a couple or for friends this would be ideal. We did not take advantage of the tasting but did enjoy the... More

Stopped in for lunch on the patio. The server brought us a basket of warm fresh baked bread and a pesto dip that was very tasty. My husband ordered a dish of black pasta with seafood and I had the lamb shank on a bed of zucchini. Both were delicious. Since we both had to drive after lunch we didn't... More

After a somewhat unpleasant experience in their tasting room, my husband and I found ourselves enjoying a delicious meal in their Bistro. We sat outside, though on a sunny May day, it was somewhat cool - there are no heaters, and we weren't offered inside seats, so needed sweaters from the car. The server was awkward and overly chatty, seemed... More

High end place with bad service. Over priced. Tiny portions. Few choices for no drinkers. Pretentious. We left very disappointed.

We've always enjoyed a visit to this vineyard with a lovely outdoor bistro area. Very relaxed and peaceful. Service was friendly and prompt and our food was very good. The menu is quite heavy on seafood and we had mussels and fish accompanied by their own wine. Prior to our meal we had a wine tasting which was expertly explained... More

Great food and great wine. Had a lovely visit with the owner who explained all the different grapes to us. He was very proud of his vineyard. Bistro had a nice variety of small plates and full plates. Loved the beet and lamb salad, squash and pear soup. Mussels were great. My friend had the salmon and the other ordered... More

Good friends just moved to the Cowichan Valley so as part of our tour of the area, we made plans to visit the Cherry Point Winery and Bistro. Our first stop was a complimentary wine tasting hosted by owner Xavier Bonilla. His passion for his wines was only surpassed by the quality of the wines we tasted. Xavier gave us... More

Didn't go to the bistro but went for some tastings on Mothers Day with my daughter. The gentleman who served us was wonderful. So passionate about his wines. It is worth the trip up island from Victoria to visit this lovely place. The wines are amazing. I ended up buying a bunch for my own wine cellar.

On our last day of our trip on the Vancouver Island, my brother and I went to Cherry Point Vineyard for lunch and some wine tasting. We went on a rainy weekday, so the bistro was empty when we arrived. The server was still friendly and made good recommendation of food. My brother ordered the chicken open sandwich and I... More
