Having enjoyed our dinner experience so much, we returned a few days later to sample the lunch. We were welcomed back like long-lost friends, and were made very at home on the terrace. The stunning frescoed ceilings of the inside were (almost!) matched by the beauty of the surrounding countryside. Proper eating 'al fresco' - surprisingly not as common as... More

We had the pleasure of dining in this restaurant a couple of times while staying in this small town in Italy. We were greeted with open arms and catered to like kings and queens! We had a large group of people with us and unlike other restaurants in the small-town, this was not a problem. The food was absolutely delicious!... More

This place is an absolute jewel. It has wonderful affreschi painted by the owner and chef Leonardo. The food is exquisite, and all the ingredients come from their garden. Janie the chef's wife, who is Canadian, is delightful - her homemade mixed pickles were delicious. They really made us feel welcome. We had two types of pici (a kind of... More

We had the most delicious lunch here yesterday and as a serious foodie, I have to say this is one of the best, if not the best in the region. Slow food, all locally sourced (as in, from their own backyard), I don't think I have eaten a better, more tender and tasty lamb rib. The cheese selection was phenomenal,... More

Had a wonderful dinner at Rinasciamento. The food was impeccable, especially the stuffed pepper antepasto and the shoulder of lamb that had been butterflied and grilled. The wine, made in house without additives, was superb. We were made to feel very welcome. The service was friendly without being intrusive, and the setting casual but elegant - the hand painted frescho... More

Excellent food, hosts, location and atmosphere. Highly recommend. Locally sourced produce. Superbly cooked. Every course was fabulous. Owners are very welcoming, informative about the food and an excellent chef (and artist) too.

Thanks to friends who brought us here, Rinascimento was clearly the best restaurant meal we had in our 10 day trip to this region. This family owned and operated restaurant is situated overlooking the beautiful hills of Abruzzo. The chef Leonardo and his wife Jaynie pointed out their farm in the distance where they grow all of the produce they... More

This must be our 4th or 5th visit and the welcome we received yet again was like meeting close friends. Once more, wonderfully presented home grown and locally supplied organic produce, a lot of which you can see from the dining terrace growing in their vegetable garden! Each dish beautifully presented and a level of service rare to find. Jaynie... More

Friends highly recommended Rinascimento and booked us in for Sunday lunch as we travelled back to Fiumicino airport. We chose a table on the balcony - and were blown away by the stunning panorama in front of us. We basked, ate and chatted in the afternoon sun, lulled by the tranquility of the setting and the scent of jasmine from... More

We made a return visit to this outstanding restaurant with friends from Nocciano and are delighted to say that it is even better than it was a year ago. Leonardo continues to create sublime food and Jaynie continues to be the perfect hostess. Yet again we left the choice of food to Leonardo and yet again we were treated to... More
