Sunday evening booking!Totally advise booking ahead so your not disappointed. Window seat upstairs, recommended! Watch the boats on the Shannon go by as you pick from a eclectic menu! As a veggie the Mozzarella & Shallot Rissotto balls were amazing.Sauce with it was super nice. Lemon mouse dessert was 10/10. The taste almost hopped off the spoon! Best that this lady... More

Welcome food after a day on the Shannon. Not cheap - €30 for a 4 course meal.- but the food and service were worth it. Lovely old building and restaurant in the bar. 5 minutes walk from the Marina.

Only a few miles from Clonmacnoise, this a great choice if you are visiting this lovely area. The location is very unusual, in an old fort on the river. It's like eating dinner in a a castle. I recommend dining upstairs, as it is more period authentic. As with the other Parkers restaurants, this one features fixed price meals at... More

I had dinner here last night with my wife. I had the chowder to start, it had obviously been reheated with a tick skin on top, having said that it was the best part of a bad meal. Main course was the burger I could not eat it, too spicy cold greasy chips. My wife enjoyed vegetable soup for starter.... More

Well you can't beat the location in an old fort built to repel a French invasion that never came overlooking the beautiful River Shannon. The food and service were excellent as you'd expect from Parker's and the price was very reasonable for a meal of such high quality. There are always new twists on familiar themes on their menus which... More

Nice old building, plenty of parking & homely shabby chic type decor with mismatched tables & Lovely light fixtures. Staff not particularly friendly - having read previous reviews I asked "what's upstairs? I read there's a viewing area" the girl I think as she was dressed differently was a manager said "just more of a restaurant - but you can... More

Stopped off here for lunch on a drive from Dublin to Galway...10 minutes off the M6. Location is lovely, a restored fort very plainly and tastefully decorated. We had some great food...varied and excellent choices on menu, we had a burger and steak slices...enjoyed the stunning rooftop view recommended by the great waitress while we waited for the food. Afterwards... More

Ate here two weeks ago with friends ( a party of 4 ) I'll start with the food, I had the cheese to start and it was heavenly ! Steak for main course which had a supplement but for the size and side dishes that accompany the meal I would have paid more ! All four of us were left... More

We had a very good meal here to celebrate our anniversary. I thought the price was ok considering the quality of the food. For some reason they presented us with three dishes of different types of potatoes, and there was absolutely no way we could eat them all, but maybe that's the Irish way. All the same, just one dish... More
