Recommend by tripadvisor, so visit when we pass by, food is huge potion, lady so friendly. Price is bit higher than we thought. Ingredients wasn't fresh enough. Beef is really hard to chew, It tastes like yesterday or day before. Fried papaya salad was surprised...full of flavours. Lamb shank was brilliant, pineapple fried rice is spot on. The best place to eat in Chalong and Phuket! The food is delicious and the owners (German-Thai couple) are absolutely lovely. They always greet us with a warm smile and friendly conversation. They remember who we are every time and give us great advice on...what other delicious entrees we could order next. They are absolutely delightful and make us feel at home whenever we go. We spent 3 months in Phuket and we became regulars at Baan Noy, mostly because of the incredible food and the warmth of the owners. We highly recommend this place!More

This place, owned by a German man and his Thai wife is a golden nugget off the beaten path. The menu is very wide with European and Asian dishes. I worked in Germany and was longing for Cordon Bleu. They did not disappoint. I highly...recommend this fine establishment, who many call the best in Chalong. I agree.More

A real homely family run restaurant, and I shows. All the family take good care of you and are also made to feel part of their family. This property is owned and operated by a lovely couple who personally tend to every table. There is a...wide selection of exquisite Thai and European dishes which you can pair with correctly priced wine options. *Regarding the negative comments that I have recently read about Baan Noy: 1) The couple that runs this establishment is not only courteous, but resolutely respectful of people from all nationalities. After all it’s a German & Thai couple! 2) I have never seen any staff member behaving in a wrong manner. I suggest that people posting false information about a hallmark restaurant of a tight-nit community, remember that you are guests in Thailand. There are several rules about respect that you are expected to maintain. Thailand is a country that is renowned for their tourism and hospitality — disturbing the peace and defaming Thai establishments is not acceptable. 3) This is an upscale restaurant at an affordable price. This is not a Cafe! Do not break the rules and expect to occupy a table for hours while ordering a meager coffee cup. Fantastic place, huge menu covering many different types of cuisine, all cooked really well. Thai, Western, steaks, with beer on tap and a reasonably price wine list. Friendly relaxed atmosphere price for locals. This place won't disappoint.

Owners are couple of German man and Thai lady. She drinks alcohol during work and speak super loud with customers. We are big company living nearby and used to visit them for coffee at the morning and dinner at the evening pretty often. Today when...we come for morning coffee this lady was demanding from us to make bigger order, not just coffee. She said “this is not an cafe, this is restaurant, you have to order food from us”. Maybe she don’t remember us visiting her at the evening for big dinner, but it was super rude and we just left. We will never come here again and definitely will inform all our friends living at the condo try to choose other places around with more friendly service and not drunk waiters.More

We came here almost 6 years ago and it's even better now, if possible!! They have expanded and now it's more than double the size with a swimming pool and more tables. Scallops were just as I remember. Our hosts were as lovely and charming...as ever. Fantastic food - we ordered scallops, garlic bread, pork ribs with pineapple, noodles with crab curry and prawn tartare (kinda like the spices of laab but then with prawns). All sooooooo good!!! Also white wine and beer at reasonable prices. Would recommend it in a heartbeat and will certainly be back next time we are here!!More

Wow! Án amazing restaurant, so friendly and the food was exelent! Had the tuna steak and it was one of the best I have tasted. The sause that came with it, my god, heaven! 100% reccomend!
