Great location, the food was ok, tiger prawns massive but you will pay for them big time. If you are in the area worth a go but if you have to travel is it worth it?

We visited Kan Eang based on Trip Advisor and we were certainly not disappointed! The restaurant is stunning and right on the waterfront with plenty of seating. The food was the best we had while in Phuket and possibly the best meal we had ever had at a restaurant! We picked our own seafood which was weighed and priced in... More

Driving from Promthep along the east coast of Phuket we chanced upon charming Chalong and was greeted by huge Sign that shouts out Kan Eng Restaurant. Followed the signs and a couple of small roads, we arrived at the carpark. Nondescript but quite busy for the middle of the afternoon. Upong being ushered through the courtyard, we were charmed by... Staff are very attentive and helpful, it was pointed out to me that the mackerel with curry paste was a very hot dish and the waiter suggested serving... More

We ate at Kan Eang just once. The food was reasonable, the service was good, the ambience was OK (however it is next to the Pier and the tide was out so there was an effluent smell), price was OK and the music was excellent. Overall we would not return to this restaurant.

Hungry for lunch - I was flashed by the Beauty of the entry of the Restaurant. Once inside, I wondered by the huge site and the abundance of flower Arrangements in the wonderful pools and vases. Waiters were attentive and food superb. Sitting by the water under a huge tree - just relaxing. Food was good and served very soon... More

Perfect location on the seafront next to the small pier. The food isn't expensive and the service is good.
