Thoroughly enjoyed our one night stay with dinner at MacNean House. Service was great and the food and wine list were exceptional.

Enjoyed a fabulous evening (and weekend) at MacNean. Staff were ultra efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and kind. Food was fab and presentation superb. Not the sort of meal you could eat every night but a real treat for a special occasion. Well worth travelling for and...accommodation is very comfortable.More

We booked accommodation and food here 8 months in advance as we had tried to book here a few years before but couldn't make it happen at a date to suit us then! So be sure to book well in advance! As expected the food...was really superb and we enjoyed every part of it. We both felt that while the service was excellent, the servers were a little too brisk giving us a description of the dishes, a minor issue! We stayed here also and the accommodation was really nice, though while we felt the restaurant was well priced, the b&b cost was very steep, comparable with 5 star hotel prices. However we both agreed that the overall experience of dinner, bed and breakfast at the McNean House is a special thing and not to be missed!More

We had the most wonderful experience here when we gathered for a special anniversary. It's was a perfect location as our group were travelling from Fublin, Donegal, Sligo and Galway. From the moment we arrived we were all treated so well-you feel truly spoiled by...the warmth and helpfulness of the staff. The food here is well renowned and we can atest to this. This was an all round fantastic experience...can't wait to go back, SandraMore

The food and service was absolutely delicious. I had the vegetarian menu and it was wonderful. You can pick and choose from both menus if you like. A lovely relaxing atmosphere and we throughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you to the staff for being so...attentive.More

WOW! The food here was amazing. My wife bought this for me for my birthday and it was a real treat. Every bite of food was full of flavour and freshness. No matter how big or small the dish was they all packed very subtle...while extremely tasty bites. I could not fault the service from any member of staff from front of house to bar person and waitress they were all exceptional. This place is a real credit to Belcoo. Neven even took the time to attend peoples tables and talk to them for a bit and he is a really pleasant and humble guy to chat with. Well Done!More

See my review for this restaurant on the 'McNean House' area of Tripadvisor. A restaurant experience second to none.

This was possibly the best meal we have ever experienced. Our tastebuds were absolutely tantalised. Everything was perfect...from the pre dinner nibbles in the bar to the breakfast the next morning. This was a wedding present from 2018, and well worth the wait to get...a table at this gem of a spot. The staff were extremely warm, friendly & professional. Our room was beautiful & cosy. Everything was spotless. We cannot wait to organise a trip again to Blacklion.More

An evening at the MacNean Restaurant was something to remember. The staff were attentive and looked after our group perfectly. First time I’ve experienced a seven course meal, every course complimentary and unique. Each course served with a wine to suit food selection. I would...recommend for a special evening. Bookings are more available to couples, a larger group like ours needed more notice, we got a seating within 10 months - closest date to the occasion. Worth the experience.More

I would recommend smart casual but I always think it's better to be overdressed! It's a smart restaurant so I don't feel jeans would be appropriate.
