We enjoyed our meal there so much a couple of weeks ago, we went back last Friday. The menu is huge. Wings to share to start (small portion is plenty) and then he had the fish and chips for main and I had spaghetti and prawns. The food was so fresh and so tasty and the service was great. The... Calling itself a bar that sells food rather than the other way around, The Harbour Bar in Rush Co, Dublin offers a wide selection to suit all palates. Try the seafood platter. Great to share between two. The bar boasts a homely atmosphere with friendly staff. Didn't break the bank either. Looking forward to my next visit.

During our short stay in Dublin, we noticed this lovely place at our second day. It was a stormy day and before lunch time, staff were making daily preparations. We asked if they start service a little bit early... They politely invited us, we were two couples. We ordered sea foods, nicely decorated plates with big portions were so impressive.... More

Got the recommendation from our B&B host. Try the fajitas in all styles! Never have seen served them in such a creative style. Just one thing: There could be more veggie-offers.

We had dinner here on our last night in Ireland, recommended by our bed and breakfast hostess. The menu is good, with both the traditional Irish fare and some surprises, like fajitas, that we rarely saw on pub menus. I had the beef and Guiness pie, which was very good, but the seafood chowder was even better--with lots of seafood... More

Don’t you just love it when you pop in somewhere out of the blue and discover a wonderful place to eat? Such was our experience late this afternoon in Rush. We managed to get a parking spot across the road and decided we’d chance our arm. The restaurant is at the back of the building and is a large, airy,... More

This place was recommended to us by the owner of the B&B we were.staying at, and it was a great.recommendation. The sign below.the kitchen window says a lot "We aren't trying to be a restaurant, we are a pub that serves great food.". They got it exactly right. There were five of us (two vegetarians), and all of our meals... More

We recently visited on a recommendation of a friend. We popped in for a bite to eat, it was like going back in time and stepping on to an old irish movie set. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The Guinness was one of the nicest pints ever or so the other half said.. the food was tasty bar... More
