I went there with my wife to drink some coffee and eat a pastry and we found a lovely place, quiet, fine and beautiful. The pastries and coffee were delicious, and the experience was great. I little pricey, but it worth. I really recommend this...cafe.More

Asked for a reservation with a day in advance just to come and find they did not have a space for me and my family. Not even an apology. Most impolite people ever. I strongly not recommend it.

As always... chef Ricardo Ruiz is top notch! Don't miss out Casa Dominga during these holidays; best take-out!

This month we went to try something new related to pastries, and I have to say that their pastries are one of the bests that I have ever tried. Their macaroons and cakes are to die for and their fruit tart is spectacular. We ordered...their coffee and had to buy it because it was better than any other. I definitely will be coming back with more people and will recommend their restaurant.More

Casa Dominga is close to Bougainvillea Hotel, walking distance (less than one mile). This is more a cafeteria than a restaurant, but restaurant’ menu is very good. I’d like to say that the owner live before in France, and your experience coking French bakery. From...my personal evaluation Casa Dominga offers the best bakery in San José area. Please ask by phone or email about theirs actual working days, because they are closing from Monday through Wednesday.More

Among the best, top-tier! Charming restaurant-cafe that has it all... From great pastries to amazing food! Don't leave without talking to the chef, which also happens to be the owner... You will be surprised by his level of mastery as well as his commitment (I'd...even call it devotion) to restore your mind and body through his culinary experience!More

An unassuming house on a busy road- but don't let that fool you. The inside is wonderfully decorated with tons of whimsy and trinkets, each room is adorable. The food is absolutely amazing! Our large table pretty much had everything on the menu. The ceviche...is served on a huge scallop shell and delicious. The homemade pasta is fantastic. the goulash is also amazing. My favorite surprise was the vegetables (i know, i know) they were probably the first veggies I've enjoyed in 30+ years. Chef Ricardo came out and greeted the table - delightful talking to him and asking about the dishes and sauces. Each late was artistic. We are definitely going back, for either romantic dinner, or for corporate clients - this place is a winner!More

This beautiful old house has been turned into a marvelous restaurant with unusual and carefully prepared local and international cuisine. It has great character and charm. Good for that special occasion or an interesting informal lunch or supper. All the food is wonderful but the...deserts! Save room for desert! They have now added a pretty garden which is sometimes available to eat in.More

The best so far in San Jose area. Old style house loaded with charm. Delicious pasta and heavenly pastries and desserts. Make sure you book and arrive early! It soon fills up.
